Özet
Bu çalışmada, öncelikle çıkış bileşiği olan 4',5'-bis(bromometil)benzo-15-crown-5 (3) üç basamaklı reaksiyon sonucunda sentezlendi. Birinci basamakta, tetraetilenglikol diklorür (1), ikinci basamakta, benzo-15-crown-5 (2) ve son basamakta ise çıkış bileşiği olan 4',5'-bis(bromometil)benzo-15-crown-5 (3) elde edildi. Aldehit ve halojen sübtitüe yeni simetrik çift kollu crown eter ligandları (4-6), çıkış bileşiğinin (3) 5-klorsalisilaldehit, 5-bromsalisilaldehit ve 5-iyotsalisilaldehit ile reaksiyonları sonucunda elde edildi. Çalışmanın ikinci bölümünde, yapısında benzo-15-crown-5 bulunduran bileşiklerin (4-6), NaClO4 ile reaksiyonundan 1:1 (metal:ligand) sodyum kompleksleri (4a-6a), KI ile reaksiyonundan 1:2 (metal:ligand) potasyum kompleksleri (4b ve 6b) elde edildi. Çalışmanın son bölümünde ise ikinci aşamada sentezlenen aldehitlerin (4-6), 4'-aminobenzo-15-crown-5 ile kondenzasyon reaksiyonu sonucu yeni tritopik Schiff bazları sentezlendi (7-9). Sentezlenen aldehitlerin (4-6), imin bileşiklerinin (7-9) ve komplekslerinin (4a-6a, 4b ve 6b) yapıları element analizi, IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR ve MS spektroskopik yöntemlerinden faydalanılarak aydınlatıldı. Yeni aldehitlerin ve Schiff bazlarının antimikrobiyal aktiviteleri araştırıldı.

In this study, previously, starting compound was synthesized as a result of the three-step reaction. For this aim, in the first step, tetraethylenglycoldichloride (1), in the second step, benzo-15-crown-5 (2) and in the third step, 4',5'-bis(bromomethyl)benzo-15-crown-5 (3), starting compound, were synthesized. In the second stage of the study, synthesis of new symmetrical double-armed crown ethers which contain aldehyde and halogen groups were carried out (4-6). Crown ethers that contain aldehyde group were synthesized by the reaction of the compound 3 with 5-chlorosalicylaldehyde, 5-bromosalicyladehyde and 5-iodosalicylaldehyde. In the next stage of the study, by the reaction of dialdehydes bearing benzo-15-crown-5 group with NaClO4, 1:1 (metal:ligand) and KI, 1:2 (metal:ligand), sodium and potassium complexes [(4a-6a), (4b and 6b)] were obtained, respectively. In the final stage of the study, tritopic Schiff bases (7-9) were synthesized by the condensation reaction of aldehydes with 4'-aminobenzo-15-crown-5. Structures of new crown ethers, their imine compounds and their complexes were enlightened by using the elemental analysis, IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR and MS spectroscopic techniques. Antimicrobial activities for compounds 4-9 were examined.
