Özet
ÖZET Bu araştırmanın genel amacı, eğitim sistemimizin işleyişinde çok önemli bir konuma sahip olan okul müdürlerinin yönetsel işlevlerini gerçekleştirirken okul personelini (öğretmenleri) çevresel kurum ve kişileri de gözönünde bulundurarak eğitim ve okul amaçlan doğrultusunda güdüleyip güdülemediğinin tespit edilmesidir. Bu amaca ulaşabilmek için okul müdürlerinin yönetsel işlevleri ve güdüleme konusunda literatür taraması yapılmıştır. Ayrıca Sivas il merkezinde belediye sınırlan içerisinde yer alan ortaöğretim okullarında görev yapan branş öğretmenlerine ve müdürlere uygulanmak üzere iki adet anket geliştirilmiştir. Anket için önce uzman görüşlerine başvurulmuş gerekli düzeltmeler yapıldıktan sonra ankete son şekli verilmiştir. Öğretmenlere uyguladığımız anket yedi bölümden oluşmuştur. Bu bölümler; öğretmenlere ilişkin kişisel bilgiler, yönetimle ilgili ifadeler, iletişim ve güdüleme ile ilgili ifadeler, hiyerarşideki etkililik ile ilgili ifadeler, okula ve müdüre bağlılıklan ile ilgili ifadeler, müdürün, öğretmenlere davranışı ile ilgili ifadeler, ve cinsiyet ayrımcılığı ile ilgili ifadelerden oluşmaktadır. Müdürlere uygulanan anket ise; kişisel bilgiler, yönetim ve öğretmenlerle ilgili bilgiler olmak üzere iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmanın ağırlıklı kısmını öğretmen anketi teşkil xietmektedir. Beşli likert tipi hazırlanan öğretmen anketi örneklem olarak seçilen orta öğretim okullarında araştırmacı tararından uygulanmıştır. Toplanan veriler bilgisayara yüklenmiş ve SPSS programı uygulanarak istatistik çözümleme yapılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlar ağırlıklı ortalama ile önem sırasına göre sıralanmıştır. İstatistiksel işlem sonuçlan (önem sıralaması, varyans analizi, ilişkisiz T testi, kaykare testi) bulgular ve yorum kısmında kullamlmışür. xü

SUMMARY Öcal, Hakan“Managerial Functions of the School Masters and motivation”. Post-Graduate Study Thesis. Consultant for the Thesis: Prof. Dr. Hüseyin KORKUT The general objective of this research is to determine if the school masters, having a rather important position in functioning of the educational system, are motivating the school personnel (teachers) in the direction of education and school objectives. This determination is made by taking into consideration also the environmental organization and persons. To reach at this objective, the literature on the subject of managerial functions of the school masters and motivation has been scanned. Furthermore, two questionnaire has been developed, for application to the branch teachers charged with teaching tasks and to the directors employed at the middle education schools in the city of Sivas at central municipal borders. For the survey, first, the expert opinion is taken and the required corrections made to give a final from to the questionnaire. The survey applied to the teachers contained seven sections. These sections are about 1) personal information on teachers, 2) statements on management, 3) communication, 4) coordination, 5) effectiveness in the hierarchy, 6) commitment to school 101 '3SS Sand to the headmaster, the attitude of the headmaster towards teachers and the one about 7) sex discrimination. Whereas the survey applied to the headmasters contained two sections about 1) personal information and 2) information on management and teachers. The section which is emphasized in the research is the teacher questionnaire. The teacher questionnaire prepared in form of Five Sectioned Likert Type has been applied by the researcher, at the selected middle education schools which has formed the sample. Data collected are loaded to the computer and SPSS program is used for statistical analysis. The results attained are sequenced by basing on weighted arithmetic averages and put in a raw according to their importance. The results of statistical processes (sequence formation according to significance, analysis of variance, T test without relations, Chi-square test) are used in the section about findings and interpretations. 102
