ABSTRACT Especially after 1950, many kinds of economic integration have been established among developped or developing countries. This economic integrations types called free trade areas, customs unions, common markets and economic and monetary' unions, have very important place within the theory of international economics. Two or more country's removing customs duties and trade barriers called with customs union. It will be affect country's and the other countries economy. These effect are seen in the customs unions such as production, consumption and terms of trade effects we call static effects. Beside the static effects, Customs unions leads to some dynamic effect such as increased competition, stimulation of technical change, stimulation of investments and economies of scale. As tariffs are Temoved and the market expands, the number of potential competitors increases. Firms must either become efficent or close down. This creates an increased technical change and faster economic growth. So, Custom Unions between Turkey an European Union leads to many static and dynamic effets onTurkey's economy.
