Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı serebral palsili adölesan bireylerde yaşam kalitesi ile aktivite-katılım ve çevresel etmenler arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesidir. Çalışmaya yaşları 14-18 arasında, yaş ortalaması 15,52±1,60 olan 75 adölesan (45 Erkek, 30 Kız) birey dahil edildi. Çalışmaya dahil edilen bireyler Kaba Motor Fonksiyon Sınıflandırma Sistemi'ne göre Seviye I, Seviye II ve Seviye III olmak üzere 3 gruba ayrıldı. Değerlendirme ölçekleri olarak; Kaba Motor Fonksiyon Sınıflandırma Sistemi, Kaba Motor Fonksiyon Ölçütü, Pediatrik Fonksiyonel Bağımsızlık Ölçeği, El Becerileri Sınıflama Sistemi, Çocuklar İçin Yaşam Kalitesi Ölçeği ve İşlevsellik, Yetiyitimi ve Sağlığın Uluslararası Sınıflandırması Çocuk-Genç Kısa Form (ICF-CY) (14-18 yaş) kullanıldı. Yapılan değerlendirmeler sonucunda elde ettiğimiz veriler ışığında yaşam kalitesi ile aktivite katılım ve vücut işlevleri arasında orta ve yüksek düzeyde ilişki olduğu, yaşam kalitesi iyi olan bireylerde aktivite katılım düzeylerinin de iyi olduğu sonucuna vardık. Ayrıca; Kaba Motor Fonksiyon Sınıflandırma Sistemi seviyeleri ile etkinlik katılım ve vücut işlevleri alt parametreleri ile orta ve yüksek düzeyde, çevresel etmenlerle orta ve düşük düzeyde ilişki olduğunu bulduk (p<0,05). Sonuç olarak serebral palsili bireyler için kullandığımız ICF-CY kısa formunun diğer değerlendirme ölçekleriyle uyum içinde olması, bireylerin sağlık durumlarını değerlendirmede ICF-CY kısa formlarının kullanılmasının yararlı olabileceği gözlendi.

The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between quality of life, activity-participation and environmental factors in adolescents with cerebral palsy. 75 adolescents (45 males, 30 females) ages between 14-18 (mean age: 15.52±1.60) were included in the study. Participants were divided into three groups: Level I, Level II and Level III according to the Gross Motor Function Classification System. Gross Motor Function Classification System, Gross Motor Function Measure, Functional Independence Scale, Manuel Ability Classification System, Pediatric Quality of Life Inventory and International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health Child-Youth version Short Form (ICF-CY) (14-18 years) were used for assessment. As a result of the assessments, we found that there is a moderate and high level of association between quality of life and activity participation and body functions. We conclude that there is a moderate and high level relationship between quality of life and activity participation and body functions with the Gross Motor Function Classification System level, moderate and low level relationship with environmental factors with the Gross Motor Function Classification System level (p<0,05). In conclusion, the fact that the ICF-CY short form used for cerebral palsied children is compatible with other assessment scales suggests that the use of ICF-CY short forms may be useful in assessing the health status of individuals.
