Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı, Ortaokul Sosyal Bilgiler ders kitaplarında yer alan Tarih ünitelerindeki savaş konularının, öğrencilerin Tarih algısı üzerindeki etkisini çeşitli değişkenler (okul, sınıf, cinsiyet, hanede yaşayan kişi sayısı, anne ve baba eğitim durumu, anne ve baba meslek, ailede bakıma muhtaç kişi varlığı, evde aile dışı yaşayan kişi durumu) açısından inceleyerek, anlamlı bir farklılık olup olmadığını belirlemektir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu; 2016-2017 Eğitim Öğretim yılında Burdur il merkezi Orta Okullarında (Hüsnü Bayer Orta Okulu, Türkiye Yardım Sevenler Derneği Orta Okulu) öğrenim gören 5, 6 ve 7. sınıf öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın verileri; Araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen“Kişisel Bilgi Formu”,“Sosyal Bilgiler Dersi Tarih Ünitesine Yönelik Tutum ve Algı Ölçeği”ve“Sosyal Bilgiler Dersi Tarih Ünitelerinde Anlatılan Konulara Yönelik öğrencilerin Düşünceleri Ölçeği”ile toplanmıştır. Yapılan güvenirlik analizinde ölçeğin Cronbach alpha değerinin (α) .70 olduğu belirlenmiştir. Alt problemlere ilişkin t testi ve çoklu varyans analizi ANOVA kullanılmıştır. Yapılan analizlerde anlamlılık değeri, (p<.05) olarak alınmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında cevapları aranan alt problemlere yönelik ölçek ile toplanan verilerin gerekli istatistiksel analizleri SPSS 17.0 (Statistical Packet for Social Sciences) programından yararlanılarak yapılmıştır. Verilerin çözümlenmesinde, frekans, yüzde, aritmetik ortalama, standart sapma, t testi, MANOVA ve ANOVA kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucuna göre; uygulanan ölçeklerde anlamlı farklılığa rastlanmamıştır. Ancak bazı maddelerde anlamlı farklılık belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca araştırma grubunun %44.4'ünün, tarih deyince savaş ve savaş konularının akıllarına geldiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

The aim of this study is to analyze to see whether there is any significant differences in the effect of war-related subjects taking place in the History units of Secondary School Social Sciences Course Books on the students' conceptualization of History regarding to various factors such as school, grade, gender, family size living in the same house, education of parents, the jobs of parents, existence of any persons in need of special care in the family and existence of any guests living with the family. The participants of the study are the 5th, 6th and 7th grade students in two secondary schools in Burdur city center (Hüsnü Bayer Secondary School and Yardım Sevenler Secondary School). The data were collected using“Personal Information Form”, developed by the researcher,“The scale of attitude to and perception of the History unit in Social Sciences Course Book”,“The scale of Student thoughts on the subjects taught in the History Unit of Social Sciences Courses”. The reliability tests revealed that the Cronbach aplha value of the scale is (α) .70. For the analysis of sub-problems, t-test and multiple-variance analysis, ANOVA were used. As the significance value, (p<.05) was taken. The statistical analyses of the data collected using the scales which seek to find answers to the sub-problems within the framework of the study were made using SPSS 17.0 (Statistical Packet for Social Sciences). Frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, t-test, MANOVA and ANOVA were used in the analysis of the data. As the findings of the study reveal, no significant differences are observed in the scales used in the study. But there were significant differences in some of the items. It is also observed that when the term“History”is mentioned, the 44.4 % of the participants of the study related it with wars and concepts related to war.
