Özet
Araştırmanın amacı, 10. sınıf öğrencilerin çevre kimyası konusunda yer alan kavramları öğrenmeleri, kimya dersine yönelik tutumları ve çevresel tutumları üzerine, kavramsal değişim yaklaşımı içerisine giren kavram değiştirme metinlerinin kullanıldığı yapılandırmacı yaklaşımın ve bilgi aktarımı şeklinde gerçekleştirilen geleneksel öğretimin etkisini araştırmaktır. Araştırma 2015-2016 öğretim yılında İstanbulda bir devlet okulunun iki farklı sınıfında bulunan toplam 67 öğrencinin katılımı ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Sınıflardan biri deney grubu (34) diğeri ise kontrol grubu (33) olarak seçilerek, ön test son test kontrol gruplu deneme modeli kullanılmıştır. Deney grubuna kavramsal değişim metinleri yöntemi, kontrol grubuna ise geleneksel öğretim yöntemi uygulanmıştır. Veri toplama amacıyla uygulama öncesinde ve sonrasında Kimya Tutum Ölçeği, Çevresel Tutum Ölçeği ve Çevre Kimyası Kavram Başarı Testi kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin analizi SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) ile yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın hipotezlerini test etmek amacıyla, bağımsız gruplar için t testi ve bağımlı gruplar için t testi analizi kullanılmıştır. Uygulama öncesi ön testlerde deney ve kontrol grupları arasında anlamlı bir fark tespit edilmemiştir. Araştırma sonunda ise, Kavramsal Değişim Metinleri uygulamalarının gerçekleştiği öğrencilerin akademik başarıları ve çevresel tutumları Geleneksel Öğretim uygulanan gruba göre anlamlı bir şekilde olumlu yönde farklılaşmıştır. Ancak, kavramsal değişim metinlerini kullanan öğrencilerin kimya dersine olan tutumlarında belirgin bir fark olmadığı gözlemlenmiştir. Araştırma, araştırmacılara ve eğitimcilere yapılan önerilerle tamamlanmıştır.

The purpose of the research is to investigate the influence of 10th grade students on the concept of environment chemistry, attitudes towards chemistry lessons and environmental attitudes. The research was carried out with the participation of 67 students in two different classes of a school in Istanbul in 2015-2016 academic year. One of the groups was selected as the experimental group (34) and the control group (33) was selected as the experimental group. Chemistry Attitude Scale, Environmental Attitude Scale and Environmental Chemistry Concept Achievement Test was used before and after the application for data collection. Analysis of the obtained data was made with SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences). In order to test the hypotheses of the study, t-test was used for independent groups and t-test was used for dependent groups. There was no significant difference between the experimental and control groups in the pretest pretreatment. At the end of the research, the academic achievement and environmental attitudes of the students in the implementation of the Conceptual Change Texts differ significantly in positive direction according to the group applied to Traditional Instruction. However, there was no significant difference in the attitudes of the students. Research has been completed with the recommendations made by researchers and trainers.
