Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı, ortaöğretim öğrencilerinde milli kimlik bilincinin farkındalık düzeyini araştırmak ve liselerde Tarih dersi eğitiminin milli kimlik bilincine etkisini öğrenci görüşlerine göre ortaya koymaktır. Araştırmaya katılan öğrencilerin Tarih dersinin milli kimlik bilinci oluşturmadaki rolüne ilişkin görüşleri incelenmiş, öğrencilerin öğrenim gördükleri okul türü, yaş, cinsiyet, anne ve baba eğitim durumları ve sosyo-ekonomik durum değişkenlerine göre görüş farklılıkları ortaya konulmuştur

The aims of this research are to investigate how much is the national identity consciousness of the students in the high school and to put forth the effect of the history education in the high school on the national identity consciousness for consideration based on the opinions of the students. The role of the history class on forming national identity consciousness has been investigated with the opinions of students who participated this investigation and the opinions differences of the students have been exposed with different variables such as studied school type, age, gender, parent education status, and socio-economic state.
