Özet
Bu Tez çalışması, çocuğun eğitimi ve gelişimi sürecinde cinsiyetçi resimleri otomobil örneğinde ele almakta ve otomobili sanata dâhil eden bazı sanatçıların çalışmalarını ve Turgay KARATAŞ'ın çalışmalarında otomobil kullanımını da kapsamaktadır. Araştırmanın kuramsal bölümünde, bir çocuğun eğitiminde sanat eğitiminin önemi ve gerekliliğinden bahsedilmiş ve ünlü eğitim kuramcılarından Avusturyalı ünlü sanat eğitimcisi Victor Lowenfeld tarafından gruplanan, çocuğun resimle olan ilişkisini okulöncesi çağından üniversite çağına kadar olan süreç içerisindeki özellikleri psikolojik, duygusal, özgüven ve ifade etme gibi kavramlar adı altında ele almıştır. Farklı yaş gruplarına ait çocukların yapmış olduğu resimlerin ortak özellikleri de çalışmaya dâhil edilerek kuramsal olarak ele alınan ana fikir desteklenmiştir. Bir çocuğun, içinde bulunduğu toplumun genel özelliklerinden etkilenmesi neticesinde otomobil kavramına yüklediği anlamın, çocuğun sanatına yansıdığı savı, bazı yaş gruplarına ait çocuklara yaptırılan resimlerde derlenmiş ve bunun cinsiyetle yakından ilişkili olduğu örneklerle açıklanmıştır. Ayrıca, otomobilin bir sanat nesnesi olarak sanata ait bir figür olarak kullanıldığını, dünyadan bu alanda eserleri olan çeşitli sanatçılardan örnekler ve yine Turgay KARATAŞ'ın özgün çalışmalarında otomobil nesnesinin ne anlama geldiği, tasarım programlarıyla oluşturulmuş pop art akım özellikleriyle harmanlanmış eserler de bu çalışmada incelenmiştir.

This thesis study covers sexist paintings in the automobile case in the course of the child's education and development and includes the work of some artists who include automotive art and the use of automobiles in the work of Turgay KARATAŞ. In the theoretical part of the research, the importance and the necessity of art education in the education of a child was mentioned, and the characteristics of the child's relationship with painting from the preschool era to the university era, grouped by famous Austrian art educator Victor Lowenfeld, from the famous educational theorists were named psychological, emotional, self-confidence. The common features of the pictures of the children of different age groups were also included in the study, and the main idea that was theoretically addressed was supported. The claim that a child reflects on the concept of the car in the sense that it is influenced by the general characteristics of the society in which it is housed has been compiled in paintings made by children of some age groups and is explained by examples that are closely related to gender. In addition, examples of the automobile used as an artistic object as an artistic object, examples from various artists who are worlds in this field, and what the automobile object means in Turgay KARATAŞ's original works have also been investigated in this study.
