Özet
Bu çalışma, Kur'ân'ı eksik ve noksanlardan uzak, güzelleştirme amacına hizmet edecek şekilde okumayı ifade eden tecvîd ilminin ilk olarak nasıl ortaya çıktığı ve süreç içerisinde kat ettiği tarihsel aşamaları incelemektedir. Araştırmanın formatını şu şekilde belirlemek mümkündür: Tezde ele alınan konu, tecvîd disiplininin teknik ve teorik boyutlarından arındırılarak sadece tarihsel alana hasredilmiştir. Tecvîd tarihinin arka planında yer edinen tüm sorunlar, tezin kapsamı alanı içerisinde yer aldığı gibi, tecvîd ilminin kendi tarihsel problematiklerinin çıkış noktaları da tezin sınırlarında değerlendirilmiştir. Tecvîd ilminin uhdesindeki tüm meselelerin nedenleri sorgulanmış ve bunlara cevap teşkil edecek unsurlar süreçten devşirilmeye gayret gösterilmiştir. Çalışmanın hedefi ise, tecvîdin çıkış noktasını tespit ederek bu ilmin tarihinde beliren problemleri kendi dönemlerine dağıtarak sorgulamaktır. Bu sayede teknik ve teorik tecvîd çalışmalarının mantıksal gereksinimleri tarihsel bağlamıyla ilişkilendirilmiş olacaktır.

This study investigated the tecvîd science that means to beautify citing Quran without any deficiency and shortcomings, how it first appeared and its progression through history. The format of the study is determined as follows: the theme of this dissertation is confined only to historical area distilling from the technical and theoretical dimension of the tecvîd discipline. Not only all issues situated behind the history of tecvîd, but also the threshold matters of historical problematics of tecvîd science were evaluated within the boundaries of this dissertation. The reasons of the all matters under the tecvîd science were interrogated and the elements that can answer these matters were tried to be derived from the historical process. The aim of the study is to question the problems, scattering to their periods when they appeared, by determining the starting point of tajwid. Thus, the logical necessities of the technical and theoretical tecvîd studies are associated with its historical notion.
