Özet
IV ÖZET Bu çalışmada, l-N,N-dimetilaminometil-2-naftolün (9), stiren ile ters-elektron gereksinimli Diels- Aider reaksiyonu gerçekleştirilmiştir. Reaksiyon sonunda beklenen 2- fenil-benzo-5,6-kromanın (26, R=Ph) oluştuğu ve spektroskopik verilerin kaynak bulgularıyla uyum içinde olduğu anlaşılmıştır (Brugidou and Christol, 1963). l-N,N-Dimetüaminometil-2-naftolün (9), 2-,3-,4-metilstiren, 2-,3-,4-klorostiren ve 4-vinilpiridin ile reaksiyonundan, karşı gelen 2-sübstitüe-benzo-5,6-kromanlar sentezlenmiştir. Klor sübstitüentli 2-fenil-benzo-5,6-kromanlann (111, 112 ve 113) verimleri düşük, metil sübstitüentli 2-fenil-benzo-5,6-kromanları (108, 109 ve 110) verimleri yüksek, 2- (2'-piridil)-benzo-5,6-kromanın (114) verimi ise, 4-metil ve 4-klor türevlerinin arasında olduğu bulunmuştur. Mannich bazının (9) sürenler ile reaksiyonlarında, dimer ürününe (13) rastlanmamıştır. Sentezlenen 2-sübstitüe-benzo-5,6-kromanlann yapıları elementel analiz, kütle, ir, uv, H-nmr ve 13C-nmr spektrumlan ile aydınlatilmıştır.

SUMMARY In this work, the reverse-electron demanded Diels- Alder reaction of 1-N,N- dimethylaminomethyl-2-naphthol (9) with styrene was realized. At the end of the reaction, it was understood that the expected 2-phenyl-benzo-5,6-chromane (26, R=Ph) was formed and spectroscopic data were consistent with the literature data (Brugidou and Christol, 1963). From the reaction of l-N,N-dimemylaminomethyl-2-naphthol (9) with 2-,3-,4- methylstyrene, 2-,3-,4-chlorostyrene and 4-vinylpyridine, the corresponding 2- subsututed-benzo-5,6-chromane derivatives were synthesised. It was found that the yields in chlorine substituted 2-phenyl-benzo-5,6-chromanes (111,112 and 113) were low, in methyl substituted 2-phenyl-benzo-5,6-chromanes (108,109 and 1 10) yields were higher than that of chlorines (1 1 1,1 12 and 1 13), in 2-(4'- pyridino)-benzo-5,6-chromane (114) case the yield was in between 4-methyl and 4- chlorine derivatives cases. In the reaction of Mannich base (9) with styrenes, the dimer product (13) was not encountered. The structures of the 2-substituted-benzo-5,6-chromanes were clarified with elemental analysis, mass, ir, uv, 'H-nmr and 13C-nmr spectrums.
