Özet

40 7. SUMMARY Anatomo-Histopatological inspection of tuberculosis cases of pigs slaughtered in Istanbul In this study, tuberculosis infection of pigs grown in Turkey is demonstrated Anatomo-Histopathologically for the first time. Moreover, the distribution of tuberculosis lesions in different organs are also detected. In this inspection, 10.000 pigs which were brought to Istanbul Sütlüce slaughterhouse for slaughtering procedures were examined after slaughtering. In 12 of the pigs, tuberculosis inspection is diagnosed and the percentage of the incidence is found as 0.12%. In 7 of the 12 pigs, generalised tuberculosis inspection is diagnosed and the percentage is determined as 58.3%. In 5 of the cases, tuberculosis infection are determined to settle in the lymph nodes and the percentage is found as 41.6%. In 2 of the pigs, tuberculosis infection in abdominal cavity is determined only in the liver and the lymph nodes which are associated with digestive system, in 5 pigs tuberculosis infection is determined in the lymph nodes associated with the internal organs of the thoracic and the abdominal cavity, and in 5 of the pigs, tuberculosis infection is determined in only lymph nodes associated with the digestive system. No tuberculosis infection settled in thoracic cavity is determined. Primary complex could not be determined in any of the cases. Considering the tuberculosis lesions in die infected pigs, the infection is assumed to be taken by the digestive system. Generally, in young pigs (12 months) tuberculosis inspection is determined to localise only in the lymph nodes of male pigs, and in older parents, generalised tuberculosis infection is determined. This study, which is made for the first time in Turkey provides good opportunities for the scientific and the economical development of our country, as it determines the presence of the tuberculosis infection of pigs. In addition, it indicates that we will need further rewiews of the studies made on this subject, as in almost all of the cases, M. Avium is reported as the responsible agent in all the literatures.
