Özet

Lise öğrencilerinde, benlik saygısı yüksek olan öğrenciler ile benlik saygısı düşük olan öğrencilerin, problem çözme davranışı ve psikolojik yardım alma tutumu arasındaki ilişkiyi ortaya çıkarmak ve bu sonucu literatüre katarak alandaki araştırmacılara ve okuyuculara katkıda bulunmak ve farklı bir bakış açısı geliştirmek üzere Lise Öğrencilerinde Benlik Saygısı İle Psikolojik Yardım Alma Tutumu ve Problem Çözme Davranışı Arasındaki İlişki İncelenmiştir. Uygulama, 2014-2015 eğitim-öğretim yılında İstanbul İli Küçükçekmece İlçesindeki bir devlet okulunda eğitim gören ve rastgele seçilen 108 gönüllü öğrenciye uygulanmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak, araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen demografik bilgiler için Kişisel Bilgi Formu, Rosenberg Benlik Saygısı Ölçeği, Psikolojik Yardım Almaya İlişkin Tutum Ölçeği (PYTÖ-K), Problem Çözme Envanteri (PÇE) kullanılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında kullanılan ölçme araçlarından elde edilen verilere dair frekans ve yüzdelik dağılımlar hesaplanmış, elde edilen sonuçlar tablolar halinde bulgular bölümünde gösterilmiştir. Katılımcılardan elde edilen veriler araştırmacı tarafından kodlanmış ve SPSS 21.0 Windows paket programına aktarılarak analiz edilmiştir. Örneklemden alınan verilerde SPSS programına ve çalışmanın amacına uygun yöntemlere bakılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlara bakıldığında, benlik saygısı ile problem çözme tutumları arasında anlamlı bir korelasyon bulunmuştur. Problem çözme becerisi ile psikolojik yardım alma tutumu arasında anlamlı bir ilişki yoktur. Psikolojik yardım alma tutumu ile benlik saygısı arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olmadığı bulunmuştur. Araştırma sonuçları tartışılmış ve araştırmacı ile uygulayıcılara önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

The objective of this study is to present the relationship between the problem solving behavior and seeking psychological help attitude of the students with high self esteem and low self esteem and contribute to the researchers and readers by adding the results to the literature and examine the Examination of Relationship Between the Self-Esteem and Attitude of Seeking Psychological Help and Problem Solving Behavior in High School Students to develop different perspectives. It has been applied to the 108 volunteer students, who are randomly selected and having education in the state school in the district of Küçükçekmece in the city of İstanbul in 2014-2015 academic year. In order to collect data, Personal Information Form for demographic data which is developed by the researcher, Rosenberg Self Esteem Scale, Attitude Scale Toward Seeking Psychological Help (ASPH-S), Problem Solving Inventory (PSI) have been used. The frequency and percentage distributions have been calculated with regard to the data which has been obtained from the measurement tools used in the scope of the research and the results have been depicted in the findings section as table. The researcher has encoded the data obtained from the participants and analyzed them by transferring into the SPSS 21.0 Windows bundle program. SPSS program and methods fit for the objective of the study have been analyzed in the data obtained from the sample. Considering the results obtained from the research, a significant correlation between the self esteem and problem solving attitudes has been found. There is no significant relation between the problem solving ability and attitude of seeking psychological help. It has been found that there is no significant relation between the attitude of seeking psychological help and self esteem. The results of the research have been discussed and suggestions have been brought forward to researcher and implementer.
