Özet

However today, where a teacher becomes insufficient wage under the economical conditions, it is veiy difficult him to attend such activities. Consiquently, the fact that the music teachers occupy in different areas cause deficiency of teacher. Turkish Classical music developed, grew and was beloved by our population throughout centuries. This music is a type of art selected by the Turks for themselves and did not loose its importance for ages. However, as far as we see, in Turkey and especially at schools, the Turkish classical music is not paid the attention it deserves. Our children as well as our young people are kept more and more away from our own music eveiyday and this indicates that a deficiency exists. However this lack doesn't belong to the young generation but to those, who give effort to exterminate our classical music instead of trying to preserve it as they should do. We wish that the amount of lessons that are not sufficient for the music education shall be increased, music rooms to be installed in each school, the required instruments and devices such as T. V. sets, video and tape recorders to be present. Vll
