SUMMARY This study aims to give the conjunctives by the way of comparation used in Japanese and also in Turkish in the manner of semantics. At the first chapter (i,e. introduction) some short know ledge is given about the languages in the world as generally. And then initiation linguistic studies in Turkey is mentioned.And then the aim and importance of this study is started. Some of the studies concerning Japanese Language and its root which belongs either in Japan or abroad is also mentioned. At the definition chapter, the grouping of word kinds and phraseai structures of the sentence of Japanese Language according to contradictory ideas of Japanese scholars are been stated. In the same chapter, also the Turkish word kinds have been given. At the second chapter, peculiarities of the conjunctives used in Japanese and Turkish. And the conjunctives are been grouped according to their functions both Japanese and Turkish. At the third chapter, conjunctives mentioned at the second chapter are been handled again separately. These conjunctives which treated are studied according to the groups as well in Turkish equalities. Their synonymies or similarly near synonymies are accounted. The conjunctives in Japanese are separated as 2 e an i n cr f u 1 units a n ^ ^ h. e [5üininffs of these units are ex.Dlain.ed gramatical iy. The functions of the conjunctives in the sentence are explained and the other conjunctives which may be used or not used in same place have been stated. These conjunctives have been given in some selected sentences for the purpose of best explanation. At the and of every explanatory section using habi- tuals of this conjunction is added. 121At the chapter of conclution grouping and general evalation of conjunctives which are been treated are done.
