SUMMARY Buhara, Hive and Hokand Khanates, and Kashgar State have an important role in the Turkish history. Although the first three lasted a long life, Kashgar State had a short one in comparision with others. Their relations with Ottoman State and others makes it neccessary for us to study this state. The State of Kashgar takes part in some references as“Athalik Ghazi State”and was founded in the city of Kashgar in 1864. Kette Tore was proclaimed as Khan in 1866 replacing Buzurg Khan who reigned in the beginning years. Yakub Beg, the commander- in- chief of the state, returned to Kashgar having conquered Hotan in 1866. He sent Buzurg Khan to pilgrimage in 1867. In the same year, he was given the title“Athalik Ghazi”by Muzafferiddin the Emir of Buhara, and he proclaimed himself“the ruler”and became the absolute sovereing of the State of Kashgar. Having continued conquests, Yakub Beg widen the boarders of The Stade adding Kucha, Turfan, Urumchi and Hi to the territory. He assigned Seyyid Yakub Khan as“ambassador extraordinary”and sent him to Istanbul to inform his request of“ integration ”and the State of Kashgar became apart of Ottoman State.Martially assisted, the State of Kashgar was the target of Russia and China. The State, which established commercial relations with Russia and also commercial and diplomatic relations with The United Kingdom didn't resist the internal rebellions and the attacks of China. YakubBeg was poisioned and killed in 16 May 1 877. China occupied Kashgar in 16 December 1877 and intercepted Eastern Türkistan having put an end to the State of Kashgar. Eastern Türkistan, the territory of The State of Kashgar, has became a province of China and has been called“Sinkiang”.
