Özet
ÖZET“Türkiye' deki Serbest Bölgeler ve Türk Dış Ticaretine Etkileri (Bir Uygulama: ESBAŞ Örneği)”başlıklı bu tezin,“Serbest Bölge Kavramı ve Tarihsel Süreç İçindeki Gelişimi”adlı I.Bölümünde, serbest bölgelerin genel özellikleri ve amaçlan açıklanmış ve türlerine yer verilmiştir. Serbest bölgelere ihtiyaç duyulma nedenleri, tarihsel süreç içindeki gelişimleri ile birlikte incelenmiştir. Ayrıca dünyadaki başlıca serbest bölge uygu lamaları ve dünya ticaretindeki rolleri açıklanarak, serbest bölgelerin ekonomiye sağlayabileceği yararlar ve getirebileceği olumsuz etkiler ele alınmıştır.“Türkiye' deki Serbest Bölgelerin Gelişimi”adlı II. Bölüm de ise; ülkemizde serbest- bölge konusunu gündeme getiren gelişmeler ve konunun, tarihsel süreç içindeki gelişimi açıklanmıştır. Bunun yanında ülkemizdeki serbest bölgelerin bugünkü uygulama esasları da ayrıntılarıyla ele alınmıştır.“Türkiye'deki Serbest Bölgeler ve Türk Dış Ticaretine Etkileri”adlı III. Bölümde ise ülkemizde, faaliyette bulunan serbest bölgeler, ticari hacimleri,,gelişimleri ve faaliyet konulan açısından incelenmiştir. Kuruluş ve fizibilite aşamasında -ve uygulaması sona er- dirilen serbest bölgelere de yer verilerek, ülkemizdeki serbest bölgelerin dış ticaret açısından genel bir değerlendirmesi yapılmıştır.“Ege serbest bölgesi Faaliyetleri ve Dış Ticarete Yönelik Etkileri Araştırması”adlı IV.Bölümde ise ; bölgede yapılan alan çalışması ile, bölgedeki firmaların faaliyet konuları, iş hacimleri, katılım nedenleri, sorunları ve beklentileri araştırılarak, bölgedeki firmaların genel bir profili onaya çıkarılmıştır. Ayrıca bölgenin, firmaların dış ticaret hacmine ve Türk dış ticaretine etkileri araştırılarak sorunlar ve öneriler sunulmuştur.“Sonuç ve Genel Değerlendirmeler”bölümünde ise elde edilen sonuçlar çerçevesinde, serbest bölgelerin ulusal ve uluslararası düzeyde etkinliği ve bugünkü durumları çerçevesinde geleceğe yönelik beklentiler ortaya koyulmuştur.

ABSTRACT This thesis with the title“Turkish Free Zones and their impacts To Turkey's For eign Trade (An Application: The ESBAŞ Example)”consists of five sections. The first section is called“Free Zone Concept and its Development throughout His tory”covers the common specifications of the free zones, their goals and their variations. The reasons, why free zones are needed and their development throughout history arc explained together. Meanwhile, the leading IVee /.one application on Ihc woild and their roles in the world trade are covered. The positive and negative impact of the free zones on economy are also discussed. The second section under the name“The Development Of the Free zones in Turkey”explaines how the free zone concept became important in our country. And the progress of this concept throughout the history. In addition, legal aspects of the free zones in our country are analyzed in detail. The free zones activating in our country, their trade capacities, their development and their activitiy branches are covered in the third section named“Turkish Free Zones and Their Impact to Turkey's Foreign Trade”. The free zones which are still in foundation or fesibility phase and those with their application already ended are also covered to be able to make an evaluation on the free zones and Foreign Trade in Turkey. The fourth section named“The Activities of the Aegean Free Zone and The Research on its Impact on the Freign Trade”covers a field research which aimed to find- out the activitiy branchesof the firms in this region, their trade capacities their reasons for joining the zone, and their expectations. It is also a profile of the firms in this region. In addition the impact of the free zones on the foreign trade capacity of ihc linns and on the Turkish Foreign Trade is dicused and some suggestions for the problems are given. The last section is“The Result and Common Evaliations”It analyzes how active the free zones are both in national and international means and the expectations in future; tak ing the results that we discussed and their last conditions into considerations. And their conditions today are put forward.
