ÖZET NURİ BEY KONA?I RESTORASYON PROJESİ SAYİN, Saadet Yüksek Lisans Tezi, Restorasyon, Mimarlık Tez Yöneticisi: Öğr. Gör. Emre Madran Eylül 1988, 174 sayfa. Bu çalışma Kapadokya Bölgesindeki 19. yüzyılın ikinci yarısından sonra oluşmaya başlayan sivil mimarinin ' iyi örneklerinden biri olan Avanos Nuri Bey Konağını konu etmektedir. Çalışmanın amacı yapının bugünkü durumunun ve restoras- yon olanaklarının, yapıyı gelecek nesillere güvenle ilete bilecek ve yaşamının devamını sağlıya cak uygun işlevin araştırılmasıdır. Çalışma kapsamında, konağın yakın çevresi ve bugünkü durumu incelenmekte, tarihi araştırma ve karşılaştırmalı çalışmalar yardımıyla özgün durumları araştırılmaktadır. Elde edilen bilgiler değerlendirilerek binaya uygun işlev belirlenmekte ve sonuç olarak bir restorasyon projesi önerilmektedir. _ üi -

ABSTRACT THE REHABILITATION AND RESTORATION PROJECT OF THE NURİ BEY“KONAK”IN AVANOS SAYIN, Saadet H.Sc. in Restoration, Architecture Supervisor: Inst. Emre Kadran September 1988, 174 pages This study is about the“Konak”of Nuri Bey in Avanos, ¦which is one of the best examples of the civil architecture that has begun to form after the 2 half of the 19 century in the Cappadocia region. The very aim of this study is the documentation of the present state of the building, to search for the restoration possibilities of it and to search for the suitable function which will provide the continuation of the life of the building and safely transfer it to the future generations. Within the content of the study, the near environment of the“Konak”and its present condition are being researched, and their original states are being investigated through historical research and comparative studies.Through the evaluation of the information gathered a suitable function is being determined and as a conclusion a restoration project is being proposed. -L.
