Özet
Bu araştırmada İlkokul Hayat Bilgisi Dersi öğrenci çalışma kitaplarının öğretmen görüşlerine göre incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma nitel araştırma yöntemlerine göre yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın evrenini 2014-2015 eğitim-öğretim yılında Erzurum il Milli Eğitim Müdürlüklerine bağlı ilkokullarda görev yapmakta olan sınıf öğretmenleri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemi ise ölçüt örnekleme yöntemine göre belirlenmiştir. Belirlenen bu örneklem Erzurum ili Yakutiye, Aziziye ve Palandöken ilçe Milli Eğitim Müdürlüklerine bağlı ilkokullarda görev yapan ve 1., 2. ve 3. sınıfları okutan 56 sınıf öğretmeninden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Görüşme formunda öğretmenlere ilkokul Hayat Bilgisi Dersi öğrenci çalışma kitaplarındaki etkinlikleri farklı kriterlere göre değerlendirebilecekleri 8 açık uçlu soru sorulmuştur. Öğretmenlerin görüşme formuna verdikleri cevaplar nitel veri analizi yöntemlerinden içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda sınıf öğretmenleri öğrenci çalışma kitaplarında kullanılan etkinliklerin uygulanması sırasında birtakım problemlerle karşılaştıklarını belirtmişlerdir. Sınıf öğretmenlerinden bazıları etkinliklerde kullanılan görsellerin, kavramların, kazanımların, dil ve anlatım unsurlarının öğrenci seviyesine ve öğretim programına uygun olduğunu düşünürken bazıları da etkinliklerde kullanılan bu unsurların öğrenci seviyesine ve öğretim programına uygun olmadığını belirtmişlerdir. Ayrıca araştırmaya katılan öğretmenler, etkinliklerde yeterince çeşitlilik olmadığı için etkinliklerin öğrencilerde bıkkınlık oluşturduğunu ve bu durumlarda da kendilerinin alternatif etkinlikler üretmek zorunda kaldıklarını belirtmişlerdir. Öğretmenler, etkinliklerin hazırlanmasında öğrencilerin içinde bulunduğu toplumun sosyo-kültürel ve çevresel değişkelerinin göz ardı edildiğini ve bu durumun derste öğrenilen konuların günlük hayata uygulanması noktasında yetersiz kaldığını vurgulamışlardır.

This study aims to investigate primary school teachers' opinions of activities in the primary school Life Science Class student workbooks. The research was carried out according to qualitative research methods. The population of the study is composed of primary school teachers who are working in center of Erzurum, Turkey in the 2014-2015 academic year. The sample of study was determined according to sampling criteria method. Accordingly, the study group is composed of 56 primary school teachers who have been working in the primary school of the Aziziye, Yakutiye and Palandoken districts, which are the central districts of Erzurum. The datas were collected through a semi-structured interview form performed by the researcher. In the interview form, participants who could evaluate the activities in the primary school Life Science Class student workbooks according to different criteria were asked 8 open-ended questions. The answers of teachers are analyzed by using content analysis that is a qualitative analysis method. The findings obtained in the study reveal that primary school teachers are facing some problems during application of activities in the student workbooks. When a group of teachers express that images, concepts, gains, language and expression used in the activities are suitable for student level and curriculum a group of teachers also express that these variables are not suitable for student level and curriculum. In addition, teachers express that activities are causing boredom for the students and in this case they themselves have to produce alternative activities for students because there is not enough diversity in activities. The teachers emphasized that the books ignore the socio-cultural and environmental variant of the community in which students live when activities are prepared. Therefore, it is difficult to apply the daily life of learned issues by students.
