Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı, sağlıklı bireylerde; eklem pozisyon hissi, kavrama gücü ve elin antropometrik özellikleri arasındaki ilişkinin saptanmasıydı. Haliç Üniversitesi Sağlık Bilimleri Yüksekokulu'nda yürütülen bu çalışmaya 18-30 yaş aralığında 50 sağlıklı birey katıldı. Katılımcıların demografik özellikleri kaydedildikten sonra, antropometrik ölçümleri mezura ile yapıldı. Kavrama güçleri dinamometre, parmak kavrama güçleri pinçmetre ile ölçüldü. El bileği pozisyon hissi gonyometre ile değerlendirildi. Ölçümler her iki elde de yapıldı. Antropometrik ölçümler ile kavrama güçleri arasında istatistiksel olarak pozitif yönde anlamlı ilişki saptandı (p<0,05). Antropometrik ölçümler ile eklem pozisyon hisleri arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı ilişki saptanmadı (p>0,05). Fleksiyon yönünde eklem pozisyon hissi ile palmar kavrama kuvveti arasında pozitif yönde anlamlı ilişki bulundu (p<0,05). Lateral kavrama kuvveti ile hem fleksiyon hem de ekstansiyon yönünde el bileği eklem pozisyon hissi ile negatif yönde anlamlı ilişki bulundu (p<0,05). Sonuç olarak bu çalışmada, antropometrik ölçümlerin kavrama kuvvetleri ile ilişkili olduğu bulundu. Antropometrik ölçümler fizyoterapi ve rehabilitasyon programının düzenlenmesinde diğer değerlendirme yöntemleri ile birlikte kas kuvveti ile ilgili bilgi verebilir. Eklem pozisyon hissi ile kavrama kuvveti arasında anlamlı ilişki bulunamamasının nedeni olarak seçilen yöntem ya da eklem pozisyon hissini etkileyen faktörler olabileceği düşünülmektedir.

The Relationship Between The Wrist Joint Position Sense, Hand Grip Strength And Anthropometric Variables in Healthy Subjects The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between joint position sense, grip strength and hand anthropometric characteristics. Fifty students from Haliç University, School of Health Sciences participated in this study. After the demographic characteristics of the participants registered, anthropometric characteristics was conducted by using tape measure. Hand grip strength was measured by dynamometer, pinch strength were measured by the pinchmeter. Wrist joint position sense was assessed with a goniometer. All measures were conducted for both hands. A significant positive correlation was found between anthropometric measurements and grip strength (p<0.05). There was no correlation between anthropometric measurements and wrist joint position sense (p>0,05).A positive correlation was found between flexion wrist position sense and palmar grip strength (p<0,05). A negative correlation was found between flexion wrist position sense and lateral grip strength (p<0,05). A negative correlation was found between extension wrist position sense and lateral grip strength (p<0,05). In conclusion, it is determined that antropometric measurements are related to grip strength. Anthropometric measurements can provide information about the muscle strength along with other assessment methods in the regulation of physiotherapy and rehabilitation programs. It is thought that the reason why a significant association between grip strength and joint position sense could not be found was the chosen method or the factors which may affect the joint position sense.
