85 SUMMARY“Cappadociaıı Tablets”which have been already exceed ten thousands in numbers up to now and written in old Assyrian dialect are known with the same name in the world of science. These cuneiform documents which were unearthed in and around the central Anatolia helped the said country pass into its written history. These cuneiform inscribed documents that we call“Kultepe Tablets”contain mainly informations on social, political, economical and also, to some extend, legal structure of Anatolia in the period of 1900 to 1750 BC. Among them include some contracts made, some agreements reached, some commercial letters addressed both, among the Assyrian merchants and with the natives. ^ ît appears that the Assyrians had some different performances at their deals with their countrymen and also quite different with the Anatolians. The trade made in Anatolia by the Assyrian merchants who came here under the atmosphere of peace and the prosperity of the country just before 2000 BC based on the exchange system.. They exchanged cosmetics, clothing and tin brought with them for gold, silver, wool and some other materials and minerals such as“amutum”and“birtum”that we are not sure of yet from Anatolia. Consequently, it seemed that both sides are profitable on the deals; the Assyrian tradesmen and the natives. All the documents of cuneiform script read through and published. give us informations regarding economical, social and political life of Anatolia as well. The writer, with pleasure, submits this“thesis”prepared with in the general framework of the explained approach, and believes that includes some new points-touches-additions to those already known and appeared in the related literature and publications.
