Özet
Bu araştırmada, kuvvet ve hareket ünitesinin öğretiminde akıllı tahta kullanımının; 6. sınıf öğrencilerinin akademik başarılarını, Fen ve Teknoloji dersine yönelik tutumlarını nasıl etkilediğini belirlenmek amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma da ön test – son test kontrol gruplu yarı deneysel desen kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemi, 2012 – 2013 öğretim yılında 6. sınıfta okuyan yüz altmış sekiz öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Deney grubunda yetmiş dokuz öğrenci akıllı tahta kullanılarak, kontrol grubunda seksen dokuz öğrenci ile sadece karatahta kullanılarak ders işlenmiştir. Uygulama dört hafta sürmüştür. Araştırmada nicel veriler toplanmıştır. Veriler, 6. Sınıf Kuvvet ve Hareket Ünitesi Başarı Testi, Fen ve Teknoloji Dersi Tutum Ölçeği ile elde edilmiştir. Nicel veriler SPSS 20.00 istatistik paket programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmada elde edilen sonuçlar, akıllı tahta kullanımının kuvvet ve hareket ünitesinde öğrencilerin akademik başarısını arttırdığı saptanmıştır. Ayrıca akıllı tahta kullanımı ile öğrencilerin Fen ve Teknoloji dersine yönelik tutumlarının da arttığı belirlenmiştir.

In this study, it was aimed to demonstrate how the use of interactive whiteboard in the unit of force and motion effects the achivements of the students and the attitude of 6th grades students towards the Science and Techonology course. In the study, the pre test – post test control group semi-experimental design was used. Sampling of the study was based on a hundred sixty-eight 6th grades of students who have been educated in the three public schools during the 2012-13 education year. In the experiment group, seventy-nine students were instructed by using interactive whiteboard. In control group, eighty-nine students were instructed by using only blackboard. Practice continued four weeks. Quantative data were collected in the study. The data were collected through the 6th Grades Achievement Test of Force and Motion Unit, Science and Techonology Attitude Scale. The quantitative data were analyzed using SPSS 20.00 statistical software package. The results obtained from the study clarified that using interactive whiteboard increased the academic achievement in the Force and Motion Unit. Also, it was found that using interactive whiteboard increased the attitude of students' towards the science and techonology course.
