IV MİMARLIK EĞİTİMİNDE TEMEL EĞİTİM PROGRAMLAMASI VE MİMARİ TASARIM PROGRAMIYLA BÜTÜNLEŞEBİLECEK BİR MODEL (Doktora Tezi) Sevgi LÖKÇE GAZİ ÜNİVERSİTESİ FEN BİLİMLERİ ENSTİTÜSÜ EYLÜL 1994 ÖZET Postendüstriyel toplumların, postmodern kültür çağına girişiyle, bilgi konumu mimarlıkta insan-mekan-çevre uyumu yeni yaklaşımlarla etkilenmektedir. Günümüzde teknik mimarlığın ötesinde, özgün yeni bir mimarlık ve yeni bir bilinç dönemi öngörülmektedir. Bu gelişmeler, yeniden düşünce oluşturacak yeni araçların neler olacağını ve yeni bir yorumlama sürecine geçilmesini gündeme getirmektedir. Bu süreçte mimarlık eğitiminde kavramsal dünyaları karşı karşıya getirecek bir söylem iletişiminin kurulması ve gerçekleştirilmesi beklenmektedir. Bu çerçevede yurdumuzdaki mimarlık eğitimine bakıldığında, bu kurumların var oluşlarından beri bu nedenle sürekli eleştirildikleri görülmektedir. Günümüzdeki sayıları onüçü bulan bu ku rumlar özellikle tip öğretim programları eğitim düze nindeki“teknik bilgi-beceri”ağırlıklı tek biçimlilikle, deneyime dayalı kimlik geliştirebilme ve kendi sistemlerini sürekli yeniden üretebilme şansına ve enerjisine kavuşamamışlardır. Aktif, insiyatif sahibi, tek başına varolabilen çok boyutlu düşünme yetisi olan mimar adayları yukarıda tanımlanan çekim alanıyla çevreyi önemseyen ve çevreye duyarlı, düşün sahibi bireyler olabilirler. Bu adaylar varolan düzenle buluşan, toplumsal etkileşimi sağlayabilme misyonuyla yüklü programlarda yetiştirile bilirler. Bu çalışmada savunulan“ülke koşullarında”mimarlık eğitimi programlarının değişimidir. Bu değişim, tasarım eğitimi amaçlarının yeni beklentilere yanıt vere bilmesi ve bireylerin orta öğrenimden gelen eksikliklerinin giderilmesi doğrultusunda olmalıdır. Bu nedenle önerilen program değişimi, yaygınlaştırılan bir temel eği tim programıyla tasarım eğitimi programının bütünleştirilmesidir. Böylece mimarlık ve mimarlık eğitiminde insan- mekan-çevre uyumu için yeni oluşumların ilk adımı gerçekleşebilecektir. Bilim kodu : 601

A PROPOSED MODEL FOR ARCHITECTURAL EDUCATION TO INTEGRATE A BASIC EDUCATION PROGRAMMING WITH ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN PROGRAM {A PhD Thesis) Sevgi LÖKÇE GAZÎ UNIVERSITY INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE September 1994 ABSTRACT In architecture the harmony of human, space and environment has been influenced by new approaches in accordance with the changing situation of knowledge with respect to the post-industrial societies, entrance to the era of post-modern culture. At present, an original, new architecture above technical architecture and parallel to the new comprehension and consciouiness of the environment has been anticipated. Such developments puts out the present agende that what the means would be in forming afresh thoughts and transfering into a new interpretation process. Architect candidates that are active with faculty of multi-dimensional thought, that can take responsibility, can be self dependent, enterprising, can be individuals, via the new field of“attraction”defined above, that attach importance to the environment, sensitive and thoughtful. These candidates can be trained in the courses which are in charge of a mission that can meet with the existing system and ensure the societal interaction. The thesis asserts that, programs of the courses of architectural education have to be changed in accordance with the conditions of the country. The direction of this change has to be towards that the design education objectives can respond to the new expectations and to relieve the deficiencies of the national secondary education system, brought about by the students. For this reason, the proposed curriculum change is the integration of a widespread basic education program with the design education program. Thus, the first step of the new formations for the harmony of human, space and environment in architectural education and in architecture, can be realised. Science code : 601
