Özet
Cerrahi Hemşirelerinin Hasta ve Hasta Yakınlarından Gördükleri Şiddetin Tükenmişlik, Duygu Körlüğü ve İş Doyumuna EtkisiAmaç: Cerrahi kliniklerde çalışan hemşirelerin hasta ve yakınlarından gördükleri şiddetin tükenmişlik, aleksitimi ve iş doyumuna etkisini belirlemekti.Materyal ve Metot: Tanımlayıcı türdeki araştırma, Ekim 2011-Mart 2013 tarihleri arasında gerçekleştirildi. Atatürk Üniversitesi Araştırma Hastanesi, Rize Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi ve 82. Yıl Devlet Hastanesi Cerrahi Kliniklerinde çalışan 264 hemşireyle yürütüldü.Veriler, tanıtıcı özellikler ve şiddete uğrama soru formu, MTÖ, TAÖ ve HOİDÖ ile toplandı.Bulgular: Hemşirelerin bazı tanıtıcı özellikleriyle şiddete uğrama durumlarının karşılaştırılması ve şiddete uğrama durum ve sıklıklarıyla MTÖ, TAÖ ve HOİDÖ'nün bazı alt boyut puan ortalamaları arasındaki fark anlamlıydı. Şiddete uğrama durumları: Çalıştığı kurum, yaş, çalışma şekli, çalışılan birim, vardiyada çalışan hekim ve güvenlik sayısı; MTÖ- Duyarsızlaşma: Hasta ve yakınları tarafıdan şiddete uğrama, sözel şiddet uğrama sıklığı; MTÖ-Duygusal Tükenme: Hasta ve yakınlarından şiddet görme durumu ve sözel şiddete uğrama sıklığı anlamlıydı. TAÖ-Dışa Dönük Düşünce: Hasta ve yakınları tarafından şiddete uğrama durumu, en son uğranılan şiddet türü; TAÖ-Duyguları Tanıma Zorluğu, TAÖ-Duyguları İfade Etme Zorluğu, TAÖ-Toplam puan: Hasta ve yakını tarafından sözel şiddete uğrama sıklıkları anlamlıydı. HOİDÖ: Hasta ve yakınları tarafından şiddete uğrama, hasta tarafından fiziksel şiddet sıklığı anlamlı bulundu.Sonuç: Hemşirelerin çoğunun hasta ve yakınları tarafından şiddete uğradığı, hasta tarafından şiddete uğrama nedeninin tekrar eden ağrılı işlemler, hasta yakını tarafından ise hastane kurallarına uymak istememe olduğu, uğranılan şiddet nedeniyle hemşirelerde orta düzeyde duygusal tükenmişlik ve iş doyumu yaşadığı belirlendi.

The Effects of Violence Against Nurses Working in Surgical Clinics from Patient and Patient Relatives on Exhaustion, Alexithymia and Job SatisfactionAim: The aim of the present study is to determine the effects of violence towards surgical nurses from patients and patient relatives to exhaustion, alexithymia and job satisfaction.Material and Method: This descriptive study was conducted between November 2011 and February 2013 with 264 nurses working in surgical clinics of Ataturk University Research Hospital, Rize Training and Research Hospital, and 82.Yıl State Hospital. A questionnaire on descriptive characteristics, MBI, TAS, and HOJSS was used to the data of the study.Results: Comparison of some descriptive features of nurses with their being exposed to violence and their situation and frequency of being exposed to violence and the difference between some sub dimensional point averages of MBI, TAS, and HOJSS was meaningful. Their situtation of being exposed to violence: The institution in which they work, age, type of working, the unit in which they work, number of the doctor and security officers working during the shift; MBI- Desensitization: Being exposed to violence by patients and their relatives, frequency of being exposed to verbal violence; MBI- Sensual Exhaustion: The situation of being exposed to violence by patients and their relatives and frequency of being exposed to verbal violence was meaningful. TAS- Extrovert Thought: The situation of being exposed to violence by patients and their relatives, the type of violence last being exposed; TAS- Difficulty in Recognition of Emotions, TAS- Difficulty in Recognition of Emotions, TAS-Total point: frequency of being exposed to violence by patients and their relatives were meaningful. HOJSS: Being exposed to violence by patients and their relatives, frequency of being exposed to physical violence by patients was meaningful.Conclusion: It was detected that most of the nurses are exposed to violence by patients and their relatives; the reason for being exposed to violence by patients is recurrent painful procedures; the reason for being exposed by the relatives of patients is that they do not want to obey the rules of hospital; nurses have a medium level sensual exhaustion and job satisfaction because of the violence exposed.
