Özet
Cahiliye Dönemi Araplarına baktığınızda şiirin bir medeniyeti baştan başa nasıl sardığına tanıklık edersiniz. Hz. Peygamber (s.a.v) döneminin başlangıcında da aynı tabloyu görmek mümkündür.Allah Resulü (a.s.m) hem Cahiliye hem de İslami dönemdeki şairleri ve şiirlerini çeşitli yönleriyle değerlendirmiştir. Bir taraftan şairle ilgili olarak ?Umeyye b. Ebi-s-Salt neredeyse Müslüman olayazdı.? ve ? İmriü'l-Kays, cehennemdeki şairlerin sancağının sahibidir? şeklinde buyururken, diğer taraftan şiir hakkında da ?Şiirde hikmet vardır? ve ?Sizden birinizin, karnını irin ve kan ile doldurması, şiirle doldurmasından daha hayırlıdır? şeklindeki rivayetlere rastlamaktayız. Bu ifadeler ilk bakışta birbirine tezat teşkil eden sözler olarak görülmektedir. Ancak bu rivayetler, bize ulaşan tüm varyantlarla birlikte değerlendirdirildiğinde durumun bunun aksine olduğu görülmekte ve hakikatte rivayetler arasında herhangi bir tersliğin olmadığı anlaşılmaktadır. Yukarıdaki hadisleri aynı zamanda Allah Resulü (a.s.m)'nün şair ve şiiri farklı yönlerden nasıl kategorize ettiğinin işareti olarak da görmek mümkündür.Kütüb-i Tis'a çerçevesinde hazırladığımız bu çalışmamızda Hz. Peygamber (s.a.v)'in şiirle ilgili rivayetlerinin tüm varyantlarını bir araya toplamak suretiyle ve ilim adamlarının görüşlerini de esas almak kaydıyla rivayetlerin tahric ve tenkidini yapmaya çalıştık. Konuyu tamamlar mahiyette Cahiliye ve Hz. Peygamber (s.a.v) dönemindeki şiirle olan münasebet ve bu bağlamda bu dönemlerdeki şairlerin bir kısmının biyografilerini ve öne çıkan özelliklerini sunmaya gayret gösterdik.Hz. Peygamber (s.a.v)'in şiir ve şaire karşı sergilediği tavrı yani şiir söylemeyi veya dinlemeyi benimseyip benimsemediğini, rivayetlerden getirdiğimiz örneklerle izah etmeye çalıştık. Bu meyanda Hz. Peygamber (s.a.v)'in, müşrik şairlere karşı duruşunu Kur'an-ı Kerim'de zikredilen ayetleri delil göstermek suretiyle, ayrıca kendi sözleri ve sahabenin kavilleriyle de destekleyerek ayrıntılı bir tarzda izah etmeye çalıştık. Bunun yanı sıra her bölümün sonunda o bölümü özetler mahiyette bir sonuç kısmı ilave ettik.

When the Arabians of the Ignorance era are analyzed, one can witness how poetry dominated a civilization entirely. The same picture can also be seen during the beginning of The Mohammed era.The Prophet of Allah evaluated the poetry and poets in both Ignorance and Muslim eras from various angles. While on the one hand, he told about the poets as ?Umeyye b. Ebi-s-Salt was about to be a Muslim? and ?Imriü?l-kays has the sanjak of the poets in the hell?, we also happen to see such reports as ?There is wisdom in the poetry? and ?It is better for anyone of you to fill your stomach with blood and pus than to fill it with poetry. These statements seem to present contrasts to each other. However, when analyzed together with all the variants we have in our hand, it is seen that the case is just the opposite and it is understood that there is no contrast between the truths and the reports. It is also possible to consider the hadiths above as the denotations of how the Prophet of God classified the poetry and poets according to their various aspects.In our study prepared under the Kütüb-ü Tis?a, we attempted to trace back and criticise the reports by gathering all the variants of the reports of The Prophet about poetry and by grounding them on the views of scholars. We tried to present the relationship of Hz Prophet with the poetry in his time and in ignorance era and thus the biographies of some of the poets at the time and their prominent features to complement the subject.We attempted to explain the attitude of The Prophet towards poetry and poets- that is whether he embraced the idea of telling or listening to poetry with our examples from the reports. Among other things, we tried to explain the stance of The Prophet towards the polytheist poets elaborately by evidencing them from the verses stated in the Quran, also by supporting it with his own words and the words of sahaba. Besides, we included a conclusion part at the end of each section to summarize that section.
