Özet
ÖZET Ülkemizde 1960'lardan sonra,hızlı endüstrileşme köyden kente göçe, tarımda çalışan nüfusun azalmasına, nüfus artışına, bina stokunun yenilenmesi ve düşük maliyetli konut gereksinmesine neden olmuştur. Erzurum kenti de konut açığı ve gecekondulaşma sorunlarıyla karşı karşıyadır. Yerel yönetim, konut kooperatiflerine 383 ha.lık 3 Nolu Gecekondu Önleme Bölgesinde ucuz arsa temin ederek soruna çözüm bulmaya çalışmıştır. Yenişehir adı verilen bu bölge 55.000 nüfusluk tasarlanmıştır. Toplu Konut Fonundan sağlanan kredi ile konutlar tamamlanmış ve iskana açılmıştır. Yenişehir, imar planlarının gerektiği şekilde uygulanmamasından veya bilinçsizce uygulanmasından dolayı, şu anda beton bloklardan oluşan, tekdüze, taşlaşmış bir konut bölgesidir. Böyle bir çevre, insanın kültürel ve psikolojik gereksinmelerini gözardı ettiği için sağlıksız bir çevredir. Toplu Konut Uygulamaları sadece konut üretmekle kalmayıp, konut birimlerini ekoloji ile uyumlu bir biçimde gerçekleştirmesi gerekmektedir. Bu araştırma projesiyle amaçlanan, Yenişehir, 3 No'lu Gecekondu Önleme Bölgesinin açık-yeşil alan donanamını, dinlenim alanlarını, nitelik ve nicelik bakımından araştırmak, yapılacak anket çalışması ila scruruan "belirleyip, çözümler önermektir.

ii SUMMARY Since the early 1960's, following the process of industrialization which led to a sequence of events such as a migration from the rural areas to urban areas, the decrease of employed in agriculture, the high rate of population increase and the necessity to rennovate the existing to the new houses. Erzurum; also was faced with the problem of insufficient housing and experinced squatter housing problems. Due to the deficit of housing local municipality of Erzurum, provided 383 hectares urbanland and declared this region as the 3 rd Uncontrolled Housing Prevention Area, then it was sold to the housing devolepment co-operatives. Now, in Yenişehir, we can see only the row of apartment blocks, because of deficient implementation of the existing plans were created a world made of concrete in Yenişehir. To get a house isn't sufficient for man because of psychological and cultural needs. The lack of harmony with man and his environment should be evaluated as a sign of an unhealty development in the city. Development of the mass housing projects not only involves the solution of housing problems but also must be encompasses the compatibility of the residential units with ecology. This research aimed at the environmental problems of 3rd Uncontrolled Housing Prevention Area, in Yenişehir. The lack of green-open spaces, defiency of recreational opportunities and insufficient green areas will be shown by a questionnaire survey which will be conducted in Yenişehir.
