Özet
Temettüât Defterleri 19. yüzyıl Osmanlı iktisat ve sosyal tarihi için vazgeçilmez kaynaklardandır. Osmanlı Devleti'nin Batı ve Orta Toroslar Bölgesi'nde yapılan sayımlar neticesinde oluşan temettüât defterleri, hane reislerinin yıllık vergi, gelir ve mal varlıklarının kaydedilmesiyle oluşturulmuştur. Bu çalışma ile Batı ve Orta Toroslar Bölgesi'nin iktisadî ve sosyal yapısı, temettüât defterleri çerçevesinde değerlendirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu kapsamda toplam Batı ve Orta Toroslar'da 44 köy incelenmiş, sosyal yapı içinde; nüfus miktarı, nüfusun dinî yapısı ve yerleşim özellikleri üzerinde durulmuştur. İktisadî yapı incelenirken kayıtlardaki bilgiler ışığında bölgenin genel itibarıyla yıllık toplam vergi yükü, vergi yükünün dağılımı ve bileşenleri tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bölgedeki tarım, hayvancılık gibi ekonomik gelirler sayı ve hâsılat olarak incelenmiştir.

The Ottoman income records are indispensable sources for the 19th century Ottoman economic and social life. Such records were formed by means of censuses that were achieved in the Western and Middle Taurus region, and registration of the householders? annual income, tax and wealth. Through this study, it is aimed to evaluate the economic and social structure of the Western and Middle Taurus region within the framework of the Ottoman income records. In the scope of the research that was carried out in 44 villages around the Western and Middle Taurus, the study focuses on the amount of population, the religious form and residential features in terms of social structure. When it comes to the analysis of economic structure, the study tries to find out total annual tax burden, dispersion of the tax burden and the components as a whole within the region in the light of the data in the records. Such incomes as farming and livestock raising are examined with numbers and revenues.
