Every work including a narration consists of a structure and a theme. These form a literal unltly and make a piece of art. When we take the works Into account, we see that the Meşrutiyet (Constitution) novel Is based on a controversy as A + B, or A as Its centre, or A + B + C, formula. A + B may be taken as symbols rather than works about people who have unity In them. Controversies in some novels take place in place - character relationship due to the effect of realist morality. This relation makes It clear to display the effect of the environment upon character. Controversies are shown in conventional ways In some novels. The novels Include characters from a wide variety of choice. A number of the controversies are only visible, not directed to action. Young idealists suffer a lot In the novels against westernization. The Individual cannot get along well with his environment because of the differences In life philosophy, moral values, etc. Here, B prepares the unhappiness of A with his own values. The best thing to do Is to produce the Ideal life from 16th century Ottoman life to Middle East Turkish history, to modernism. Novel Is a form of great effect on the society. The novel of Constitution differs from those of the later period because of novelist - reader relation, amplitude of novel - novelist, relations of plot and characters. Novels give the characteristics of the period in which they are written. The constitution novel reflects the Important features of the period; political controversies, wars, social expectations, and so on. Consequently, the constitution novel includes themes of social values, East - West controversy supported by westernization, changing values, utoplc fantasies about the future of political and social structure.
