207 SUMMARY In this inquiry, called“The Formation o-F Early Mutezilete Thoughts”, it is initially tried to de-Fine the concept o-F“Mutazile”. Then, it is aimed to investigate the emergence o-F this concept, and the views which are claimed with respect to its various types o-F usage and the arguments which are used to support those views. This study especially stresses the -Facts, on the background o-F the -For mation of early Mutazilete thoughts such as the con-Flict between Umayyads and Khashimids, the re-Flection o-F highly developed conciousness o-F Arab on policy, the socio-political condition in the era o-F either Umayyads or Abba- sids and the leakage o-F -Foreign religions and cultures to Islamic Thoughts. It is endeavored to fix -Five principles of Mutazile, especially based upon the ideas of Al-Wasil and of Al-Amr. The first chapter of this study comorises of five subdivisions such that: a) The situation of man who commits the great crimes (kebair) b) Ordering what is good and forbidding what is bad (emr-nehy) c> The principle of Unification (tevhid) d) The Problem of Predestination (kader) and its source e) The Attributes of Allah. Moreover, the second chapter inquires the rela tionships between Mutazile and other sects while Mutazilete views of leader ship (imamet) and policy are being described. In brief we have tried to valuate the initial place of Mutazile views in whole Islamic Thought under the light of historical events and socio-politi cal facts, although they are qualified as“bid' at”later. In addition to that, we have investigated the subject of how and why it have been deviated from original line. We've concluded our study by examining the place of Mutazile te views in either Islamic or Humanity Thought and its contributions on both of them. ödkümantasyes Mtiteggl
