SUMMARY Mevlüt ERTEN, Mubhematu ' 1 -Koran (Vague Verses in Koran), Post Graduate Study, (Concellor:Prof Dr. Salih Akdemir) V-104. Within the content of our study, that is, the Müfohernat 'ül-Koran, being one of the sciences of Koran dealing with the concepts whose names and identities are not clearly defined. These are the concepts of Male, Female, Angel, Cinn, Community, Tribes, Space, Time and Numbers and the implications as to whom and what these concepts attribute. The concepts specified above are considered in a scientific and critical approach for the first time in our study. Our thesis is divided into two parts: In the first, part, that is in the classical approach, the below items under the title of vagueness are reviewed: How vaguenesses are peroeieved, why they were considered as vague, which vague words are used and what are they. During their explanation,6 according to which criteria they were defined, both in the interpretive and methodology books as well as in the seperate work and consequently, how the vaguenesses were handled in old sources. In this study, we seeked to furnish information to the reader on this matter. further In the second part, we explained our scientific understanding stressing the universality of Koran and thereby we ascertained the uselessness of the science of vagueness. We reviewed the explanations related with vaguenesses separately, one by one and determined that these cases conflict or are in contradiction with the e Arabic Language, wisdom and logic, historical events, "tthe universality of Koran and even with the Koran itself. Thereby, we stressed that this science is useless and does not contribute to Koran in any way. Resultantly, it is stated that, Koran does not need a science as mentioned above and such sciences sJxmld not. be included in the in the methodological books of our time. Field Code: 223.01.01
