Özet
ÖZETE itim ve ö retim sistemleri bütün dünyada zekay geli tirmeye yönelik olup yarat c l k arkaplana itilmekte ve önemsenmemektedir. Yarat c l n içerisindeki özgünlük, kurallara uymama gibikimi ögeler de ö rencilerde ho kar lanmamakta ve bast r lmaktad r. Ezbere dayal geleneksel e itimanlay ndan kurtulabilmek, problem çözücü, yarat c e itim anlay n n getirilebilmesi ancak sanate itiminin genel e itim içinde hak etti i as l yeri almas ile mümkün olabilir (Balc , 1990:2).Genel anlamda sorunlar n kökenini politik, e itim, ekonomik, çevre ve ki iselliktenkaynakland görülmektedir (Artut: 2001:109).Sanat e itimi genel e itim içinde olmas gerekti i yerde de ildir, bu nedenle sanat e itimiokullarda en çok sorun ya anan ve özellikle resim ö retmenlerinin sorun ya ad alanlardan birioldu u; resim ö retmenlerinin ya ad sorunlar n en önemlilerinden birinin sanat e itimine kar olanolumsuz tutum ve davran lardan kaynaklanan sorunlar oldu u dü ünülmektedir.Sanat e itiminden kaynaklanan tüm sorunlar hemen hemen okul öncesi e itimden yüksekö renime kadar tüm dünyada ayn d r. Ancak bu sorunlar n boyutlar ve öncelikleri ülkeden ülkeyefarkl l k göstermektedir. Türkiye'de ise sanat e itimi ile ilgili olumlu beklentilerin henüz istenilendüzeyde olmad bilinmektedir. Problem, ülkemizin gereksinimlerine yan t verebilecek bat lülkelerdeki yeni geli meleri benimsemekte ve uygulamakta geç kalm olunmas d r (Artut: 2001:109).Geçmi ten günümüze kadar sanat e itimine kar olumsuz yakla mlar n de i medi idü ünülmektedir. Toplumun her kesimince sanat e itimi gereksiz ve önemsiz görülmü ; durum böyleolunca sanat e itimi bo zamanlar doldurma u ra ndan daha öteye gidememi tir. Durumun buekilde olmas ise çok ciddi bir problemle kar kar ya olundu unun bir göstergesidir. Bunu günümüze itim sistemimizde de görmek mümkündür.Ülkenin geri kalm l toplumun dolay s yla bireylerin sanata bak aç s n belirlemektedir.Ülkemizde sanat, bo zamanlar de erlendirme, bir fantezi ve süsleme dü üncesiyle geleneksel biranlay olarak alg lanmaktad r. Ayr ca ö renci velilerinin sanat e itimi ile ilgili olumsuz tutum veönyarg lar da belirleyici olmaktad r (Artut:2001, 110).Okullar m zda resim ö retmenlerinden di er bran ö retmenlerine, okul idarecilerindenö renci velilerine kadar hemen herkeste bu anlay n hakim oldu u görülmektedir. E itimsistemimizde sanat e itiminin önemi ve gereklili i ile ilgili yakla mlar n, sanat e itiminin sa l kl veamac na uygun bir ekilde verilememesine neden oldu u dü ünülmektedir.Bu nedenle bu ara t rmada, ortaö retimde sanat e itiminin gereklili i konusunda resimö retmenlerinin, okul idarecilerinin, di er bran ö retmenlerinin ve ö renci velilerinin görü lerininbelirlenmesi amaçlanm t r.Ara t rma 2004-2005 E itim-Ö retim y l II. döneminde Afyonkarahisar il merkezindebulunan 7 genel ortaö retim okulunda görev yapan toplam 8 resim ö retmeni ile 8 okul idarecisi, 95di er bran ö retmeni ve bu okullardaki 39 ö rencinin velisi ile yap lm t r.Ara t rman n verilerini resim ö retmenleri, okul idarecileri, di er bran ö retmenleri veö renci velilerine uygulanan anket sorular olu turmu tur.Anket sorular n n yorumlanmas na ba l olarak ç kar lan sonuçlara göre bu ara t rman nsonunda; gerek idareciler, gerek di er bran ö retmenleri gerekse ö renci velilerinin ortaö retimdesanat e itiminin gereklili ine inanmad klar sonucuna var lm t r.

ABSTRACTImproving intelligence is the most important point of education system all over the world.Creativity is not given importance. Some of the characteristics of creativity such as originality and notobeying the rules are not tolerated and they are suppressed. Art education should truly take place ingeneral education in order to be able to get rid of traditional education idea and to be able to haveproblem solving and creative education idea.It is thought that the origin of these problems includes politic, education, economic,environment and personal.However, art education is not in the right place in general education. So art teachers have lotsof problems in art education in schools. One of the most important problems that art teachers have ishaving negative attitude and behaviour towards art education.All of the problems result from art education are almost the same as all over theworld.but,these problems are different from country to country. n turkey, t is known that positiveattitudes about art education is not at desired level now.the problem is to be late for practising andadopting new development in the western countries.It?s thought that these negative attitudes toward art education have not changed from past totoday. All people in society have considered art education to be unnecessary and unimportant. Becauseof this, art education is only thought as free time activity. On the contrary, it?s considered that almostevery individual in society has the same opinion. This is a serious problem. It?s possible to see thisproblem in today?s education system. In our schools nearly everybody such as art teachers, otherbranch teachers, head teachers and parents have wrong attitude towarts art education. It?s also thoughtthat this attitude towards the importance and necessity of art education causes it not to be givenaccording to its aim.It is thought that in our country, art has been considered as a free time activity, fancy anddecorating. Also,students' parents' negative attitutes and precious about art education are effective onthese problems.For this reason, in this research, to see the effect of negative attitude towards the necessity ofart education in secondary school is aimed.The research has been done with eight (8) art teachers, eight (8) headmasters, (95) ninetyfiveother branch teachers and (39) thirtynine parents in (7) seven general secondary schools inAfyonkarahisar in 2004-2005 second term.The input of the research has been determined according to the questionare which has beenasked these art teachers, headmasters, other branch teachers and students? parents.According to the results which are related to the comment on questionare, it has been seen thatboth headmasters, other branch teachers and students? parents do not truly, believe in art education insecondary school.
