Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı, lise 2. sınıf İş-Enerji konusunda 5E modeli ile yapılacak öğretim ile geleneksel öğretim yönteminin öğrenci başarısı ve tutumu üzerine etkisini incelemek ve karşılaştırmaktır. Araştırma 2006?2007 öğretim yılı bahar döneminde Karaman Milli Piyango Fen Lisesi 10. sınıfındaki 70 öğrenci ile yürütülmüştür. Uygulama öncesi ve sonrasında deney ve kontrol gruplarının başarı durumlarını karşılaştırmak için İş-Enerji konusu ile ilgili bir başarı testi hazırlanmıştır. Ön-test uygulamaları sonucunda ikisi deney grubu ikisi kontrol grubu olmak üzere dört şube belirlenmiştir. İş- Enerji konusu, deney grubunda 5E modeline göre hazırlanan rehber materyal doğrultusunda, kontrol grubunda ise geleneksel öğretim yöntemi ile yürütülmüştür. Ayrıca, deney ve kontrol gruplarındaki öğrencilerin uygulama sonrasında tutumlarında bir farklılaşma olup olmadığını ölçmek için uygulama öncesi ve sonrasında gruplara tutum ölçeği uygulanmıştır. Ön-test ve son-testlerden elde edilen veriler bağımsız t testi ile analiz edilmiştir. Başarı testi sonuçlarına göre gruplar arasında deney grupları lehine anlamlı farklılıklar gözlenmiştir. Tutum ölçeği sonuçlarına göre gruplar arasında anlamlı bir fark oluşmamıştır.

The aim of this resarch is to compare and investigate the traditional education method and teaching method which will be done with 5E method dealing with the students success and attitude in high school tenth class in the subject of ?Work-Energy?. The investigation was done in 2006-2007 educational year in spring term with 70 students in tenth class in Karaman Milli Piyango Science High School. Before and after the application to compare the success of experiment and control groups a success test was prepared in the subject of Work- Energy. In the result of pre-test applications four classes were defined, two of them are control groups and two of them are experiment groups. In the subject of work-energy 5E model was used according to accessary material in experiment groups and in control groups traditional educational method was used. And also to evaluate in the control and experiment groups students? attitudes wheter there is a diffrentation or not after the application, before and after the application attitude scale was done to the group. Data which was optained from pre-test and ex-test was analysed with independent group t-test. According to results of success test , it observed that experiment groups are more successful than control groups. According to results of attitude scale, there is no differentation between the groups.
