11 ÖZET Aynur Yİ?İT ORHAN. Sınıf öğretmenlerinin Okul öncesi Eğitim Hakkındaki Görüşleri ve Beklentilerinin İncelenmesi, Yüksek Lisans Tezi, Ankara, 2006. Bu araştırmanın amacı sınıf öğretmenlerinin okul öncesi eğitim hakkındaki görüş ve beklentilerini incelenmek; bu görüş ve beklentilerin sınıf öğretmeninin cinsiyetine, yaşına, öğrenim durumuna, kıdemine ve okul öncesi ile ilgili seminere, kursa veya hizmet içi eğitime katılmasına göre farklı olup olmadığının belirlemektir. Araştırmanın örneklem grubunu Ankara İli Çankaya llçesi'ne bağlı resmi ilköğretim okullarında sınıf öğretmenliği yapan 212'si kadın ve 60'ı erkek toplam 272 sınıf öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Sınıf öğretmenlerinin okul öncesi eğitim hakkındaki görüş ve beklentilerine ait veriler araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen“Beklentiler ve Görüşler Anketi”ile toplanmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen veriler Korelasyon Analizi, İki Ortalama Arasındaki Önemlilik Testi (t-Testi) ve Varyans Analizi, Post-Hoc Testleri'nden olan TukeyHSD Testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonuçları şöyle özetlenebilir: Sınıf öğretmenlerinin okul öncesi eğitim hakkındaki görüşleri ve beklentileri arasındaki korelasyon katsayısı yüksek bulunmuştur. Sınıf öğretmenlerinin cinsiyeti ile okul öncesi eğitim hakkındaki görüşleri arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu; okul öncesi eğitimden beklentileri arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olmadığı bulunmuştur.Ill Sınıf öğretmenlerinin yaşı ile okul öncesi eğitim hakkındaki görüşleri arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu; okul öncesi eğitimden beklentileri arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olmadığı bulunmuştur. Sınıf öğretmenlerinin okul öncesi eğitim ile ilgili seminere kursa veya hizmet içi eğitime katılması ile okul öncesi eğitim hakkındaki görüşleri arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu; okul öncesi eğitimden beklentileri arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olmadığı bulunmuştur. Araştırmanın bulguları, sınıf öğretmenlerinin okul öncesi eğitim hakkındaki görüşlerine yönelik sorulara verdikleri cevaplarda hizmet süresi değişkeninin etkili olmadığını; öğretmenin cinsiyeti, yaşı, öğrenim durumu ve okul öncesi ile ilgili seminere, kursa veya hizmet içi eğitime katılması değişkenlerinin ise etkili olduğunu ortaya koymuştur. Araştırmanın bulguları, sınıf öğretmenlerinin okul öncesi eğitimden beklentilerine yönelik sorulara verdikleri cevaplarda yaş, hizmet süresi ve okul öncesi ile ilgili seminere, kursa veya hizmet içi eğitime katılması değişkenlerinin etkili olmadığını; öğretmenin cinsiyeti ve öğrenim durumu değişkenlerinin ise etkili olduğunu ortaya koymuştur.

IV ABSTRACT Aynur Yİ?İT ORHAN. Research On The Views And Expectations Of Class Teachers About Preschool Education, Post Graduate Thesis, Ankara, 2006. The purpose of this reseach is to examine the views and expectations of class teachers on preschool education and determine if these views and expectations differ according to sex, age, education and rank of class teachers and according to the participation in the seminars, courses or on-the-job-traning about preschool. The modeling group of the research consists of 212 women, 60 men, total of 272 class teachers, who are employed in goverment primary schools in Çankaya Districts of Ankara Province. The data concerning views and expectations of class teachers on preschool education is gathered with“Questionnaire of Expectations and Views”improved by the researcher. The data achieved from the inquiry has been measured through implementation of Correlation Analysis, Weighing Test and Variance Analysis, Difference Between Two Groups Means and TukeyHSD being derived from Post-Hoc Tests. The outcomes of the research may be abstracted as follows: The correlation coefficient between the views and expectations of class teachers on preschool education is considered to be high. It was cocluded that there was a considerable relationship between the gender of class teachers and their views on preschool education; and that there was no significant relationship between the gender of class teachers and their expectations on preschool education.It was concluded that there was a considerable relationship between the age of class teachers and their views on preschool education; and that there was no significant relationship between the age of class teachers and their expectations on preschool education. It was concluded that there was a considerable relationship between the education of class teachers and their views and expectations on preschool education. It was concluded that there was no significant relationship between the term of service/year of class teachers and their views and expectations on preschool education. It was concluded that there was a considerable relationship between class teachers participating in the seminars, courses or on-the-job-training and their views on preschool education; but that there was no significant relationship between their expectations on preschool education. The outcomes of the survey concerning the views of class teachers on preschool education show that term of service variable was not effective; but gender, age, academic background, participation in the in the seminars, courses or on-the-job trainings variables were effective.
