Özet
GENELLEŞTİRİLMİŞ HİLBERT DÖNÜŞÜMLERİ ÖZET Sözde diferansiyel operatörler ve Fourier integral operatörler kısmi türevli diferansiyel denklemlerin çözümlerinde, diferansiyel operatörlerin tersinin veya farklı genişlemelerinin bulunmasında ortaya çıkmaktadır. Sözde diferalsiyel operatörler genelde Au= f e^o(x,0û(0de Fourier integral opertörleri ise Fu= [ ei$Ma(x^)â(()^ şeklinde tanımlanmaktadır ve burada a(x, £) sembolü ve 3>(:r, £) faz fonksiyonu ek koşulları sağlamaktadır ([1] - [4]). Bu operatörlerin farklı uzaylarda tanımlanması, sürekli genişlemesi, kompaktlık koşulları, spektral yapılarının irdelenmesi gibi sorular temel sorulardır. Örneğin a(x,Ç) ? Bazı ek koşullar altında w(x) = (wı(a;), W2(x)) 6 R2 ve r°° dt H(f)(x)=pvJ J(x + tw(x))j, olmak üzere L operatörünü Hf)(x) = ^H(f(x))+lm, şeklinde yazarak L operatörünün sınırsızlığım H operatörünün sınırsızlığını ispatlayarak göstermişlerdir. Burada,(x)), z e R\ p(z) e R71 *M 0 ? _ I (jSl(^)zi,... A(x)Zn), *,/?(*) ? Rn şeklindedir. Tezde ele aldığımız esas soru Genelleştirilmiş Hilbert dönüşümlerinin hangi koşullar altında L^ uzayına sınırlı genişlemesinin bulunup bulunmaması ile ilgilidir. Öte yandan sözde diferansiyel operatörler ve Fourier integral operatörleri Fourier dönüşümlerinin doğal genişlemeleridir. Örneğin Fourier dönüşümü a(x,Ç) = 1 koşulunu sağlayan sözde diferansiyel operatör ve a(x,Ç) = 1, $(£,£) = ix.Ç koşullarını sağlayan Fourier integral operatörüdür. Bundan dolayı Tezin Giriş bölümünde Fourier dönüşümü incelenmiştir. 2. bölümde sözde diferansiyel operatörlerin temel özellikleri araştırılmış ve ele aldığımız problemlerle doğrudan bağlantılı olduğundan dolayı 3. bölümde Hilbert dönüşümlerine ve Cauchy integral operatörlerine ayrıca yer verilmiştir. Son olarak tezde bulduğumuz sonuçlar 4. bölümde verilmiştir. vıı
Özet (Çeviri)
GENERALIZED HILBERT TRANSFORMS SUMMARY Pseudo-differential operators and Fourier integral operators arise from the solutions of differential equations and also from generalizations and inverses of differential operators. Pseudo-differential operators and Fourier integral operators are generally defined as Au= f e**a{x,Ç)û{0<%, Fu= f e**^a(x,Oû(0«- respectively. Here the symbol a(x,Ç) and the phase function $(x, £) satisfy some additional conditions ([1] - [4]). The main questions are defining these operators on several spaces, studying for continuous extensions, criteria for compactness and their spectral structure. For example many researches were done in the topic of continuous extension for the operator A to the Lp and H" Sobolev spaces when a(x,Ç) E STs, 0^p,6^1([5}-[10}). It was proved in [11] that all A G LP s are continuous from I/2(Mn) to L20^n) if 6 < p. If the estimates (2.5.1) are satisfied for x e K C Kn with Aa,p,K-, which depend on K for any compact set K C W1, then Hörmander [5] proved that all A e L°pS can be extended to be a bounded operator from L%mp(Rn) to l4°c(Kn). On the other hand, Kumano-Go [9] has given an example of an operator belonging to LPpl for every p < 1, which is not L2 continuous. Calderon and Vaillancourt [12] proved that every operator L?pp with 0 < p < 1 defines a continuous linear map L2 - > L^. this result, particularly for p = |, viiihas played an important role in linear partial differential equations, especially in the study of subelliptic operators. S%s Hörmander classes are subsets of C°°. But in application we see symbols a(x, £) which does not belong to C°° and are not continuous. In [10] J. Alvarez and R. Duran considered a class of pseudo-differential operators whose symbol is a characteristic function of a conic subset of R2 x R2. Namely, they studied operators in the form L(/)(x) = yc-**-«*r(»,0/(0de. where T = {(x, £) = (xi, x2, £1, ^2) | ^ e D, £2 > c(a;)Ç1} is a cone in R2 x R2 and c(x) is a real valued function defined on a domain D C R2. By choosing a domain D and a function c(x) in [10] it was constructed an unbounded operator of the form (4.1.1) in ^(R2), 1 < p < 2. Note that when T is a conic subset of R2 then the boundedness of L is a consequence of the Carleson-Hunt's theorem (see [10]). A representation of the operator L under some additional conditions in the form where LU){x) = ^KH{f{x)) + \f{x), P°° fit H(f)(x)=pvJ f{x + tw(x))2 and w(x) = (101(2), w2(x)) G R2 constitutes the main idea of the paper [10]. The operator H(f) is not exactly a Hubert transform, but it can be considered as a generalization of the Hubert transform. Indeed if w(x) ? R1 and w(x) = 1 then H{f) is the Hubert transform. A similar class of operators was considered in [9] and [8]. In these papers boundedness criterion for pseudodifferential and Fourier integral operators are investigated by using the operators /CO k(z)f(p(x)z-a(x))dz,.00 where k(z) e S, k(z) denotes the Fourier transform of fc(z), a(x) and (3(x) are real-valued functions. The similarities in the definitions of these operators, mentioned above motivated us to define the following operator A(f)(x) = f k(z) /((/?(*) o z) + a{x)) dz, JRn ixwhich we called generalized Hilbert transform where arrw-l (A (s)*i,..-,&(*)<), z,p(x)eRn P[x) oz-\ (zfrix),..., z(3n(x)), z e R\ P(x) e R» The main problem studied in this thesis is whether the generalized Hilbert transforms have a bounded extension to the space L2 or not. Pseudo-differential operators and Fourier integral operators are the natural extensions of the Fourier transforms. Fourier transform is the pseudo-differential operator with the symbol a(x, £) = 1 and the Fourier integral operator with a(x, 0 = 1 and $(a;, £) = ix.C. This is why we studied the Fourier transform in the first chapter. In the 2nd chapter we studied the main properties of pseudo-differential operators and taking into account a connection with the problems in the thesis we considered Hilbert transforms and Cauchy singular integral operators in the 3rd chapter. Finally in chapter 4 we gave our results.
