Özet
HİPOTEZ TESTLERİNDE ÖRNEKLEM BÜYÜKLÜKLERİNİN BELİRLENMESİ Alper OYMAK ÖZ Bu çalışmanın amacı normal dağılıma sahip kitlelerde ortalamaya ilişkin hipotez testlerinde ve grup ardışık test yöntemlerinde örneklem büyüklüklerinin belirlenmesi için geliştirilen yöntemleri incelemektir. İkinci bölümde normal dağılıma sahip kitlede ortalamanın tek ve iki örneklem hipotez testleri kitle varyansının bilindiği ve bilinmediği durumlarda incelenmiş ve testler için gerekli örneklem büyüklükleri verilmiştir. Benzer şekilde bu durumlarda kullanılan grup ardışık test yöntemleri tanıtılarak testler için gerekli örneklem büyüklükleri verilmiştir. Ayrıca belli özelliğe sahip birim oranlarının tek ve iki örneklem hipotez testleri, grup ardışık test yöntemlerinde kullanımı ve testler için gerekli örneklem büyüklükleri verilmiştir. Çalışmada ayrıca incelenen her bir test süreci için örnekler verilmiş ve grup ardışık test düzenlerini gösteren uygulama yapılarak elde edilen sonuçlar tartışılmıştır.

DETERMINING SAMPLE SIZE IN HYPOTHESIS TESTS Alper Oymak ABSTRACT The aim for this study is to examine methods developed for determination of sample sizes for hypothesis tests of mean and group sequential test methods in a normally distributed population. In the second section, one and two sample hypothesis tests of mean for known and unknown variances is examined and sample sizes were given for tests. Similarly, group sequential test methods, which is used that situations is introduced and sample sizes were given for tests. Also specific unit proportions of one and two sample hypothesis tests and using them in group sequential test methods and sample sizes for tests are given. In the study also; samples for each examined test process are given and example which shows group sequential test orders is done. The results are discussed.
