ÖZET VAN'DAKİ LİSELERDE OKUYAN 10. VE 11. SINIF ÖĞRENCİLERİNİN GEOMETRİ DERSİNDEKİ BAŞARI DURUMLARI ERBİLLİ, Fatih Yüksek Lisans Tezi, İlköğretim Matematik Anabilim Dalı Tez Danışmanı: Doç. Dr. Cemil TUNÇ Şubat-2004, 57 sayfa Bu çalışmada, Van' da bulunan liselerde okuyan 10. ve 11. sınıf öğrencilerinin geometri dersindeki başarı durumları incelenmiştir. Van' da bulunan 12 farklı liseden 653 tanesi lise-2 ve 504 tanesi de lise-3 olmak üzere toplam 1157 öğrenci üzerinde bir test uygulandı. Uygulanan test ile öğrencilere 17 adet geometri sorusu 12 tane de anket sorusu olmak üzere toplam 29 soru soruldu. Öğrencilerin sorulara verdikleri cevaplar her soru için ayrı ayrı analiz edildi. Cevaplar tasnif edilirken“doğru cevap”,“yanlış cevap”ve“cevapsız”olmak üzere 3 kategoriye ayrıldı. Her bir sorunun başarı analizi okul-okul ve sınıf- sınıf çizelge haline getirilerek hem okullar arasındaki, hem de 10. sınıf öğrencileri ile 1 1. sınıf öğrencileri arasındaki başarı durumları yorumlandı.

ABSTRACT THE LEVELS OF SUCCESS OF THE STUDENTS ATTENDING TO 10 th 1 1 th GRADE CLASSES AT GEOMETRY LESSONS IN HIGH SCHOOLS IN VAN ERBİLLİ, Fatih MS Thesis, Department of Primary School Mathematics Thesis Advisor : Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cemil TUNÇ February- 2004, 57 pages In this study,the levels of success of the students of the 10 th and 1 1 th grade classes at geometry in high schools of Van have been investigated. A test has been applied to 1157 students,653 of whom were 10 th class students and 504 of whom were 1 1 th class students. They were all chosen from 12 different high scholls. In this test totally 29 questions, 17 of which were geometry questions and 12 of which were questionaire questions, were asked to the students. Each of the answers the students answered to the questions, was analysed respectively for each of the questions. While separating the answers, they were divided into 3 categories:“ Correct Answer”“Wrong Answer”and“ No Answer”. A table of analyse was prepared for the success of each question and it was evaluated with respect to schools and classes in order to see the differences between schools and between 1 0 th and 1 1 th classes.
