Özet
ÖZET Bu araştırmada, ilköğretim altıncı sınıf sosyal bilgiler dersi Türkiye'miz ünitesinin yurdumuzda nüfus ve yerleşme konusunun öğretiminde çoklu zeka kuramı ile geleneksel yöntemlerin öğrenci başarısı ve derse karşı tutumu üzerine etkilerini belirlemeyi amaçladık. Araştırma 2003 - 2004 eğitim öğretim yılının bahar döneminde İstanbul ili Üsküdar ilçesinde bulunan Deniz-İş İlköğretim Okulu'ndaki 6-A ve 6-B şubelerinde 46 öğrenci üzerinde gerçekleşmiştir. Bir ünitede uygulanmıştır. Bu öğrencilerden 23 'ü deney grubunu 23 'ü kontrol grubunu oluşturmuştur. Araştırmacı tarafından basan testi hazırlanmış ve her iki gruba da ön test, son test ve kalıcılık testi olarak uygulanmıştır. Uygulama 9 ders saati sürmüştür. Uygulanan testlerden elde edilen bulgulara göre; çoklu zeka teorisinin uygulandığı deney grubunun basan ve hatırda tutma düzeylerinin geleneksel yöntemin uygulandığı kontrol grubuna göre daha yüksek olduğu sonucuna vanlmıştır. SUMMARY At this research, our aim is to study the effects of“Multiple Intelligence Theory”and“Traditional Methods”on the improvment of the student's success and keeping in mind at Primary School 6th class of Our Turkey unit, population and settle down in our country subject. The research is performed with 46 students of Deniz-İş Primary School at Üsküdar, nd Istanbul at the 2 semester of 2003-2004 educational years. 23 students were used as the experimental group whereas the 23 students were accepted as the control group. A success test was prepared by the researcher and it was given to groups as pre-test and control-test. The practices were done during 9 lectures. The results of the given test showed that the success and keeping in mind of the group treated with Multiple Intelligence Theory was higher then the group treated with the traditional methods. Ill
