Doç. Dr. Murat KAYALAR ABSTRACT In Today's World, national boarders are too small for the country economies. In this kind of world, to make the life standards of the human beings higher, the geographic boarders should be moved. According to the competition conditions, Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises ( SMEs) should re-new themselves. It is not the question how big the enterprises, it should be adapted according to the world conditions. At this research, in case of the Turkish enterprises are entering into the international markets, the problems, especially the exportation problems of the SMEs, which we had heard lots about them in recent days, are researched. It is seen that the exportation problems has the great importance, if we compare to the others. This Research is comprises of three parts. At the first part, general information of the SMEs has been given and the advantage and disadvantages of the SMEs is examined. Besides, the general problems of the SMEs and the efforts of the SMEs at the“New Economy”is analysed and suggestions were given for the purpose if they will use of it or not. At the second part, general information of the fundamentals of the exportation has been given and importance of the SMEs in Turkish economy and exportation is analysed. Besides, Processed Agricultural Products, the subject of the Research, is analysed in details. At the third and the last part, the problems of the SMEs during the exportation teoritically analysed and through these analyses, an application is done and solutions were given according to this application.
