Özet
Öğretme-öğrenme sürecinde öğrencilerin öğrenme stilini dikkate alarak öğretimi gerçekleştirmek gittikçe önem taşımaktadır. Öğretmenlerin, yöntem, teknik, strateji ve kullanılacak materyalleri öğrenci ihtiyaçlarına göre düzenlemeleri, öğrencilerin de öğrenme konusunda daha fazla sorumluluk alabilmeleri, uygun çalışma ortamları oluşturabilmeleri ve uygun alanlarda öğrenim görebilmeleri için öğrenme stillerini tanımaları gereklidir. Bu araştırmanın amacı, genel liselerde lO.sınıf Fen, Türkçe-Matematik ve Sosyal Bilimler alanlarında öğrenim gören öğrencilerin öğrenme stillerini belirlemektir. Araştırma 2002-2003 öğretim yılında Eskişehir il merkezindeki sekiz genel lisede lO.sınıfta Fen, Türkçe-Matematik ve Sosyal Bilimler alanlarında öğrenim gören öğrenciler üzerinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Tarama modelindeki bu araştırmanın verileri, öğrencilere uygulanan bir envanterle toplanmıştır. Toplam 21 maddeden oluşan envanterle, lO.sınıf Fen, Türkçe-Matematik ve Sosyal Bilimler alanında öğrenim gören öğrencilerin öğrenme stilleri belirlenmiştir. Araştırmada istatistiksel teknik olarak "frekans ve yüzdelerden, faktör analizinden, t ve F testlerinden yararlanılmıştır. Değişkenler arasında anlamlı bir fark bulunup bulunmadığının belirlenmesinde 0,05 anlamlılık düzeyi esas alınmıştır. Araştırma sonunda, genel lise 1 0.sınıf Fen, Türkçe-Matematik ve Sosyal Bilimler alanlarında öğrenim gören öğrencilerin yarıya yakınının görsel öğrenme stiline sahip olduğu, onu işitsel, bedensel öğrenme stillerinin izlediği belirlenmiştir. mCinsiyet açısından bakıldığında, kız öğrencilerin görsel ve bedensel öğrenme stiline sahip olma durumunun erkeklere göre daha baskın olduğu gözlenirken, işitsel öğrenme stilinde kız veya erkek öğrenciler arasında bir farklılık görülmemiştir. Alanlar açısından bakıldığında ise, öğrencilerin görsel, işitsel ve bedensel öğrenme stiline sahip olmaları ile Fen, TM ve Sosyal Bilimler alanlarını seçmeleri arasında bir farklılık görülmemiştir.

Taking students' learning style consideration in to the gets importance in learning and teaching process. In order to arrange method, technique, strategy and material usage according to learner needs and in oder to enable learners to take more responsibilities about learning, to create suitable learning situations, to be educated in suitable fields, both teachers and learners need to know learning styles. The goal of this study is to identify learners learning styles who are educated at 10th class of Science, Turkish-Mathematics and Social Science fields of general high schools. The study was conducted on learners who were educated at 10th class of Science, Turkish-Mathematics and Social Science fields of eight general high schools which were in the center of Eskişehir, during 2002-2003 education years. The datas of this study which was a survey model were collected by using surveys which were completed by learners. Learning styles of learners who were at 10th class of Science, Turkish-Mathematics and Social Science fields were identified by using the survey which had 21 questions. Number and percentages, factor analysis, t and F test were used as statistical technique in tihe study. In order to identify meaningful relations between variables, meaningful level was taken as 0,05. As a conclusion, it was identified that percentage of the learners who were educated at 10th class of Science, Turkish-Mathematics and Social Science had visual learning style and this percentage was followed by auditory and kinesthetic learning styes. vIn terms of gender, there wasn't any diffrence among female learners, but was seen that kinesthetic learning style was dominant among males. In terms of fields, there wasn't any difference had visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning style in the field of Science, Turkish- Mathematics and Social Sciences.
