Özet
ÖZET Bu çalışmada, ilaç ön maddesi olarak sentezlenmiş on farklı 9-aril substitue fenantren türevi önce Ames Testi kullanılarak Salmonella typhimurium TA98 ve TA100 suşları yardımı ile mutajenik potansiyelleri açısından test edildi. Bunlardan 9-(5-nitro-1H-benzimidazol-2-il) fenantren bileşiği mutajenik etki gösterdi. Aynı bileşik daha sonra Allium Testi ile Allium cepa kök ucu hücrelerinde, kromozomlar üzerindeki etkisi açısından test edildi ve kromozom anomalisi oluşturduğu belirlendi. Karşılaştırma yapmak için Ames Testi ile yapılan çalışmada mutajenik etkisi görülmeyen maddelerden 9~(fenantro[9,10- d]imidazol-2-il) fenantren bileşiğine de Allium testi uygulandı. Söz konusu bileşiğin dikkate değer bir kromozom anomalisi oluşturmadığı belirlendi.

SUMMARY In this study, ten 9-aryl substituted phenantre derivatives that were synthesized to be used as basic matter for drug were tested at first for mutagenic potency in strains TA98 and TA100 of Salmonella typhimurium by using Ames Test. We observed that 9-(5-nitro-1H-benzimidazole-2-yl) phenantrene had mutagenic potency. Secondly, this derivative was investigated for chromosome aberration on Allium cepa root tip cells by Allium Test. We assumed that this compound caused chromosome aberration. For comparision, in study done by Ames test, nonmutagenic 9- (phenantro[9,10-d]imidazole-2-yl) phenanthrene compound was applied with Allium test. Then it was determined that this compound was not becoming chromosome aberration. VI
