SEISMIC DAMAGES, REINFORCEMENT AND PADDING ACTIVE-PASSIVE CONTROL SYSTEMS SUMMARY After 1999 earthquakes, it is shown that conditions of well-design structures checked by regulations was not that much poor. Also these buildings had well shaped dimensions and right resistance materials. However, it was little bit hard to support to rebuilt all these structures again from an economical perspective especially in a developing country. Because of this, all works were about having reinforced structures with using the right tools and regulations. This particular study is done for how people who were in civil engineering area would have right reinforced buildings. In addition, this experimental thesis is being included almost all kinds of reinforcing techniques and applications. Actually, nobody wants to expect that seismic energies could have been so harmful for the buildings. But, it is generally being caustic. And engineers should have been considered about it. Moreover, engineers would be able to do some researches how they disperse that seismic energy into small parts. Thus, all building components could be able to work together due to reduce that seismic energy. Thesis is also included some planning techniques. Furthermore, this study is being focused some detailed examples. For example, additional columns, beams, panels and other components before the reinforcement or later, the aim would be how effective these components would work together. Finally, a real project is being added in the appendix part that solved by ide static and compared with all data-s before the reinforcement and after the reinforcement. This project was real and it was applied in Adapazarı. XVII
