ABSTRACT This study aimed at investigating the relationship between performances and musical creativity of trainee music teachers. In order to measure the musical creativity of trainee music teachers, Torrance's“Thinking Creatively with Sounds and Words”test was used. The subjects of this study were a group of 99 university students, consisting of 62 females and 37 males. It was found that there is a significant relationship between Personal Instrument Education, Personal Voice Education, Play-Dance-Music lessons and musical creativity. It was also found that there is no significant different between either musical creativity and sexual variables, or between the type of the school which has been graduated from and musical creativity.
