- iv - ABSTRACT This study aims at finding "the order of acquisition of case markers by Turkish children and the determinant age for acquisition. In Chapter I, the purpose of the study, hypotheses, and the scope of the study are stated. In Chapter II, the literature related to first language acquisition and case relations is reviewed. In Chapter III, research design is described in detail. In Chapter IV, statistical analysis of the data collected for the purpose of the study and the findings are presented. In Chapter 7, the results of the data analysis are discussed with regard to the hypotheses stated in Chapter I.
