Özet
m ÖZET Bu çalışmada Lise I. biyoloji derslerinde, somut eğitim araç ve gereçlerinin hangi sıklıkta kullanıldığı ve buna bağlı olarak derslerin, hangi derecede uygulamalı eğitim yöntem ve tekniklerinden yararlanılarak işlendiği araştırılmıştır. Fen derslerinde, uygulamanın ağırlıkta olduğu ders işleme yöntemi, sadece ülkemizde değil genelde tüm ülkelerde öğretmen ve öğrencilerin ortak sorunudur. Bu sorunun yoğunluk derecesi, ülkelerin gelişmişlik düzeyleriyle yakından ilgilidir. Bu yoğunluğun ülkemizde hangi derecede olduğu ve hangi etkenlere bağlı olduğunu araştırmak üzere hazırlanan anket formu, seçilen liselerdeki biyoloji öğretmenlerine uygulanmıştır. Bu yolla sağlanan verilerin, istatistiksel değerlendirmeleri yapılarak, ülkemizde Lise I. biyoloji konularının işlenmesinde, somut eğitim araç ve gereçleri ile buna bağlı uygulamalı eğitim yöntem ve tekniklerinin yeterince kullanılmadığı sonucuna varılmıştır.

IV SUMMARY In this study, the frequency of use of applied teaching methods and techniques as reflected in the use of concrete educational materials and equipment in Lycâe I biology courses is studied. The issue of science teaching methodology which is primarily applied in nature is a matter of concern not only in Turkey, but to teachers and students throughout the world. The extent to which science teaching is conducted in an applied manner is directyl related to a country's level of development. A questionnaire was designed to determine the extent of applied science teaching in Turkey and the factors upon which this depends. This questionnaire was administered to biology teachers in selected lycâes. Statistical evaluation of the data obtained indicated that the use of applied educational methods and techniques as reflected in the use of conctere educational materials and equipment in Lyc?e I biology courses is at an unsatisfactory level.
