Özet
ÖZET“Türk Romanı'nda Öğretmen Tipi”adını taşıyan tezimizde 1923-1950 dönemini konu edinen romanlarımızdaki“öğretmen”i tanımlamaya çalıştık. Hem bu dönemde yayımlanan hem de daha sonra yayımlanıp 1923-1950 dönemini konu edinen romanları çalışmamızda değerlendirdik. Konuya, toplumumuzun yaşamakta olduğu medeniyet değiştirme çabasının ve buna bağlı gelişmelerin bir yansıması olduğu teziyle yaklaştık. Türk Romanı'na belirli bir dönemde girebilmeyi başarmış“öğretmen”tipinin de ancak bu bakış açısıyla anlamlandırılabileceğine inandık. Çalışmamızda konuyu üç bölümde ele aldık. Birinci bölümde, cumhuriyetin kurulması ile birlikte farklı bir tipin,“öğretmen”tipinin, romanımıza girdiğini ortaya koyduk. Ülkemizdeki ilk roman örnekleri kendisine kahraman olarak“Alafranga- Züppe”tiplere yer verirken, cumhuriyetin kuruluşunun hemen öncesinden başlayarak, romanımızın“öğretmen”tipini konu edindiğini bu bölümde belirttik.“Öğretmen”tipinin romanımızda yer edinmesinin nedeni de toplumsal serüvenimizde aranmalıdır, görüşündeyiz. Cumhuriyet ile birlikte kurulan yeni Türk Devleti' nin yöneliminde öğretmenlere önemli görevler yüklenmesi, bu eğilimin kısa süre içerisinde edebiyatımıza da yansıdığını bize göstermiştir. Öğretmen teması cumhuriyetin ilanından sonra Türk Romanı'nda pek çok örnek ile birlikte karşımızdadır. Çalışmamızın ikinci bölümünde“öğretmen”temasını konu edinen çok sayıda romana yer verdik. Bununla birlikte bu temayı konu edinen bütün romanları tezimizde değerlendirmenin güçlüğü de bulunmaktadır. Çalışmamızın hiçbir biçimde“antoloji”niteliğini taşımasını istemememiz sayıca değerlendirdiğimiz romanlarla yetinmemizde etkili oldu. Tezimizin üçüncü bölümüne öğretmen temasının son mükemmel örneğini değerlendirerek başladık. Yeni koşullarda yine toplumumuzun karşılaştığı yeni sorunlara bağlı olarak eski çerçevedeki öğretmen tipinin edebiyatımızda önemini ve belirginliğini de kaybettiğini vurguladık. Son bölümde bu temanın farklı düzeylerde de ele alındığına değindik. Öğretmen temasının edebiyatımızda belirginliğini kaybetmeye başladığım, çeşitli girişimlere rağmen önceki dönemdeki etkinliğine ulaşmadığını da gördük. Bunun nedeninin de elbette, öğretmen temasının romanımıza girmesinde olduğu gibi toplumsal serüvenimizle ilgili olduğunu, kanıtlama çabası içinde olduk. İİİ

SUMMARY We tried to define“the teacher”as topic in period of 1923-1950 in our thesis that is called 'The Teacher Model In Turkish Novel“. We evaluated the novels which had been published in this period of time and were published after this time also were become topic of period of 1923-1950. We approached to the topic it is reflection of effort of changinig civilization that our society was living and reflection of development depended upon this changing. We believed that the model of teacher that achieved to enter into Turkish novel at the particular period of time. This can be explained with only this point of view. We examined this topic in our study at three sections. At the first section, we brought up that different model- the teacher model- entered into subject of our novel while the republic was being founded. We explained that the first samples of novel in our country include ”Fop-European-style“ models as hero but the novel just before founding of republic started including ”the teacher“ model as subject. According to us, we must search the reason of becoming topic of the teacher model at our social adventure. The new Turkish government that was founded with republic has a tendency of giving teachers important tasks. This tendency was reflected into our literature in a short time. After founding of republic, topic of teacher were seen in Turkish novel with plenty of samples. At the second section of our study, we discussed plenty of novels which their topic ”the teacher". Morever it's difficult to evaluate all these novels. We didn't desire that our study has got a features of anthology so we were satisfied with the novels which we evaluated. We started the third section of our thesis by evaluating the last perfect sample of the teacher topic. We emphasized that the model of teacher in the past period of time, lost its importance and clarity in our literature.This is relevant to the new cnditions and new problems of our society, At the last section, we mentioned that this topic is examined at different levels, too. We sav the topic of teacher started losing its clarity in our literature and it couldn't reach its past effectiveness in spite of various attempts. We tried to prove that the reason of this, is relevant to our social adventure as the topic of teacher had enter into our novel. IV
