Özet
Bu tezde 20.yy. Türk şiirinin önemli aşamalarından biri olan Garip Hareketinin şiir dili özelliklerini araştırdık. Garip hareketine dahil olan Orhan Veli Kanık, Oktay Rifat Horozcu, Melih Cevdet Anday'ın bu dönemde yazdıkları şiirler dilbilimsel bir metodla incelenmiştir. Araştırmamızda sonuca ulaşabilmemiz için öncelikle şiir dili incelemelerinin nasıl yapıldığını ve şiir dilinin ne olduğunu saptamaya çalıştık. Sonraki iki bölümde ise Garip hareketinin Türk şiir geleneği içindeki yerini ve Garip şairlerinin kendilerini bir önceki şiir geleneğinden ayıran görüşlerini belirginleştirdik. Garip hareketi şiir dilinin özelliklerini tespit aşamasında öncelikle şiir dilini diğer dil çeşitlerinden ayıran önemli kıstaslardan biri olan sözdizimsel çözümlemeye başvurduk. Şiir dilinin belirleyici özelliklerinden olan göstergeler ise araştırmamızda iki şekilde ele alındı. Bu bölümde öncelikle Garip hareketi şiir dili için belirleyici özelliklerden biri olan göstergeler tür bakımından incelendi. Böylece döneminde oldukça eleştirirken Garip şiirinin kelime kadrosu ve bunların türlere göre dağılımı saptandı. Bir sonraki bölümde ise şiir dilinin önemli özelliklerinden biri olan ses yönünün şiir dilinde nasıl kullanıldığını belirlemeye ve göstermeye çalıştık. Kendinden önceki şiir geleneğinin ses unsurlarına karşı çıkan Garip şiirinde şiirin ses düzeyinin araştırılması da bizi önemli sonuçlara götürdü. Son aşamada ise Garip şairlerinin şiire bakışına ve şiirdeki sözdizimsel, sessel, anlamsal düzeye göre ortaya çıkan biçimsel özellikler belirlendi. Bu bölümlerin tümünde ortaya çıkan veriler Garip şiirinin önemli özelliklerinden biri olan konuşma dilinden sözdizimsel, anlambilimsel, ve sessel yönden nasıl yararlandıklarını da göstermekte bize yardımcı oldu.

In this thesis, we have investigated the characteristics of the poem language of the Garip Movement, which is one of the important milestones in the Turkish poem of the 20. Century. The poems written by Orhan Veli Kanık, Oktay Rifat Horozcu, and Melih Cevdet Anday belonging to the Garip Movement have been investigated by a linguistic metod. We have first of all tried to determine how the investigations for poem languages were made and what the poem language was in order to be able to reach a conclusion in our research. We have then determined the place of the Garip Movement in the Turkish poem tradition and the views of the Garip poets distinguishing them from the poem tradition that was in existence before them in the following two sections. During the stage of determinig the poem language characteristics of the Garip movement, we first of all implemented a syntax analysis, which is one of the most important criteria in distinguishing the poem language from other language types. The indicators that are among the distinguishing characteristics of the poem language have been dealed with in our study in two ways. First of all the indicators that among the distinguishing characteristics of the Garip movement poem language have been analyzed from the point of view of type in this section. In this way, the vocabulary of the Garip movement, which had been highly criticized at those times and their distribution according to types have been determined. Then, we tried to define and show the direction of phonology, which is among the important characteristics of the poem language in the following section. The investigation of the phonology level in the Garip poem, opposing the phonological components of the poem tradition before it revealed importan findings. The view of the Garip poets to poetry and the formal characteristics that were revealed according to the level of syntax, phonology, semantic level in the poems were determined in the last section. The data that were obtained in all these sections were helpful to us determining how the Garip poetry had utilized the colloquial language, syntax, semantic, phonological point of view, which were among one of its most important characteristics.
