Özet
Bu tez çalışmasında, İstanbul Üniversitesi Nadir Eserler Kütüphanesi Yazma Eserler bölümünde 11129 numara ile kayıtlı olan nota defterindeki İsmail Hakkı Efendi'ye ait eserlerin form, makam, usul yönünden incelenerek güftelerin Osmanlıca'dan günümüz Türkçesine çevrilmesi ve bestekâr hakkında arşivlerden tespit ve temin edilecek belgelerin çevirisinin yapılması amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, araştırma 3 aşamada tamamlanmıştır. Araştırmanın ilk aşamasında literatür ve arşiv taraması yapılmış, Sermüezzin İsmail Hakkı Efendi'ye ait belgeler, nota defterinin yazıldığı dönemdeki musiki anlayışı ve icra-pratikleri üzerinden kavramsal çerçeve oluşturulmuştur. Araştırmanın ikinci aşamasında, tarama sonucunda ulaşılabilen arşiv belgeleri ile birlikte dijital nüshasına ulaşılan defterinin çeviri ve incelemesi yapılmıştır. Araştırma betimsel nitelikte bir tarama araştırmasıdır. Dönemin musiki anlayışı, icra-pratikleri ve arşiv belgelerinin tespit edilmesinde doküman taraması yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Çevirisi yapılan arşiv belgeleri, nota defterindeki güfteler ve nota defteri içerisinde yer alan eserlerin makam, usul ve form analizleri betimsel analiz yöntemi ile analiz edilmiştir. Yapılan analizler doğrultusunda nota defterinde yer alan eserler makam, usul, form ve güftekâr bilgileri üzerinden kategorize edilmiş; nota defterinin ihtivasında bulunan eserler yazıldığı dönemin Türk musikisi kültürü ile ilişkilendirilerek notasyon kullanımı, makam yapıları, form yapıları ve usul yapıları tartışılmıştır. Nota defterindeki eserlerin nazari bilgileri, dönemin öne çıkan nazariyatçıları üzerinden karşılaştırılmalı olarak incelenerek Sermüezzin İsmail Hakkı Efendi'nin nazari kullanımı tespit edilmiştir. Nota defterinde yer alan eserler Mus2 programı aracılığıyla tekrardan yazılarak sunulmuştur. Araştırmanın 3. ve son aşamasında elde edilen bulgular raporlaştırılmıştır. Sermüezzin İsmail Hakkı Efendi'ye ait biyografik bilgiler ve nota defterinde yer alan eserlerin makam, form, usul, güftekâr bilgileri tablolar üzerinden yorumlanmıştır.

This thesis aims to examine the musical works of İsmail Hakkı Efendi, recorded in the manuscript section of the Rare Books Library of Istanbul University under number 11129, in terms of form, mode, and rhythm; to translate the lyrics from Ottoman Turkish to modern Turkish; and to translate documents about the composer that will be identified and obtained from archives. To this end, the research was completed in three stages. In the first stage of the research, a literature and archive review was conducted, and a conceptual framework was established based on the documents belonging to Sermüezzin İsmail Hakkı Efendi, the musical understanding and performance practices of the period in which the musical notation was written. In the second stage of the research, the translation and analysis of the notation, along with the digital copy of the notation, were carried out using the archival documents that could be accessed as a result of the review. This research is a descriptive survey. The document review method was used to identify the musical understanding, performance practices, and archival documents of the period. The translated archival documents, the lyrics in the notation, and the works included in the notation were analyzed using a descriptive analysis method, focusing on modes, rhythms, and forms. Based on the analyses conducted, the works in the musical notation notebook were categorized according to their mode, rhythm, form, and lyricist information; the works contained in the notebook were discussed in relation to the Turkish music culture of the period in which they were written, and their notation usage, mode structures, form structures, and rhythm structures were examined. The theoretical aspects of the works in the musical notation notebook were examined comparatively through the prominent theorists of the period, and the theoretical usage of Sermüezzin İsmail Hakkı Efendi was identified. The works in the musical notation notebook were re-transcribed and presented using the Mus2 program. The findings obtained in the third and final stage of the research have been reported. Biographical information about Sermüezzin İsmail Hakkı Efendi and the information regarding the makam (mode), form, usul (rhythm), and lyricist of the works in his musical notation notebook have been interpreted through tables.
