Özet
154 ÖZET Bu tezin amacı; Excel dersi için geliştirilen Internet sitesinde eğitilen öğrencilerin akademik basanlarını belirlemektir. Araştırmada iki bölüm vardır. Birincisi literatür taraması ve ikincisi deneysel çalışmadır. Literatür taramasında benzeri çalışmalar araştırılmış ve bu araştırmalardan edinilen bilgiler kullanılarak internette Sınıf Ana Sayfası geliştirilmiştir. Sınıf Ana Sayfası içeriğinde; ders özeti, eksersiz, referans, öğretici biyografisi ve sınıf hakkındaki bilgiler bulunmaktadır. Çalışmanın deneysel bölümünde, belirlenen hedef davranışlar doğrultusunda basan testi geliştirilmiştir. İlave olarak gruplann oluşturulması için kişisel bilgi formu düzenlenmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu Ankara Üniversitesi Eğitim Bilimleri Fakültesi 1999-2000 öğretim yılı Bahar Dönemi BÖTE1 öğrencilerinden 32 kişi ile yürütülmüştür. Eğitimde Bilgi Teknolojileri Dersi programı içeriğinde yer alan Microsoft Excel öğretimi konusu seçilmiştir. Deneysel çalışmanın başında bilgi formu ve basan testi tüm öğrencilere uygulanmıştır. İki formdan elde edilen bilgilerle öğrenciler iki gruba ayrılmıştır. Gruplar aynlırken öğrencilerin geçmiş eğitim yaşartılan ve Excel kullanma bilgileri esas alınmıştır. Her iki grupta 16 öğrenci bulunmaktadır. Gruplardan biri kontrol diğeri ise deney grupudur. Ders 369 slaytlık Power Point sunusu ile sağlanmıştır. Bunun yanında deney grubuna Web sayfası üzerinden (Sınıf Ana Sayfası) ile eğitim verilmiştir. Sonra her iki gruba sontest uygulanmıştır. Sontest sonucunda her iki grubun başarıları arasında anlamlı bir fark bulunamamıştır.

153 SUMMARY The purpose of this research was to assess the academic achievement of students who were educated the through development of Internet site for an Excel course. There were two parts in this research. First was rewiew of literature and second was experimental. In the review of literature, similar studies were searched and Classroom Home Page was developed on Internet using the knowledge gained from this search. Classroom Home Page includes; Summary of the course, Exercises, Refereances, Teacher biography and details about class. In the experimental study, in the light of attitudes toward attaining goals, success test was developed. In addition to this a information form to obtain data related to personel characteries about groups was prepared. The experimental study includes of 32 students selected from A.Ü. Faculty of Education, Education year 1999-2000 spring semester BÖTE1.“Microsoft Excel”Learning was selected from curriculum of course, Information Technology in Education. The success, test and the information from were used to assess the students. The students provided the feedback through these two forms. After the provided results are studied students were divided into two groups. The division took place on the basis of the provided results, knowledge about their use of Excel and educational background. Two groups of 16 students each were developed. One of the groups was the Control Group while the other was the Experimental. Both groups attended the course through 369 slides prepared on MS Power Point. Besides the experimental group also received the education through the Web Page. Afterwards, both groups went through the final assessment examination. According to the results obtained from this final exam, it was evident that there existed no difference among the students of both groups.
