Özet
Bu çalışmanın temel kaynağını, T.C. Cumhurbaşkanlığı Devlet Arşivleri Osmanlı Arşivi'nde muhafaza edilen 1-4 numaralı Rumeli Ahkâm Defterleri oluşturmaktadır. 1742-1746 yıllarını kapsayan bu defter serisi, halkın şikâyetleri üzerine Divân-ı Hümâyûn tarafından verilen hükümleri ihtiva etmektedir. Tezde, Belgrad merkezi ve çevresine ait hükümler incelenmiştir. Osmanlı adalet sisteminin işleyişine dair önemli bilgiler sunan bu kayıtlar, aynı zamanda bölgenin idari, sosyal ve ekonomik yapısı hakkında birinci elden veriler sağlamaktadır. Çalışmamızda bu defter kayıtlarının da yardımıyla Belgrad ve çevresinin 18. yüzyıl ortalarındaki sosyal ve ekonomik hayatı aydınlatılmaya çalışılmıştır.

The primary sources of this study are the Rumeli Ahkâm Registers numbered 1 to 4, preserved in the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, Directorate of State Archives, Ottoman Archives. This series, covering the years 1742–1746, contains decrees issued by the Imperial Council (Divân-ı Hümâyûn) in response to complaints submitted by the subjects. This thesis examines the decrees related to the city of Belgrade and its surrounding areas. These records provide significant insights into the functioning of the Ottoman judicial system while offering first-hand data on the administrative, social, and economic structure of the region. By utilizing these registers, the study aims to shed light on the social and economic life of Belgrade and its environs in the mid-18th century.
