Küme bazlı modelleme yaklaşımı, dört kümeden üçünde küresel modellere kıyasla iyileşme sağlamıştır: Küme 0'da %3,77 (21,65 mm/yıl'dan 20,83 mm/yıl'a), Küme 2'de %13,50 (13,55 mm/yıl'dan 11,72 mm/yıl'a) ve Küme 3'te %5,93 (11,41 mm/yıl'dan 10,73 mm/yıl'a) Kök Ortalama Kare Hata (Root Mean Square Error; RMSE) iyileşmesi elde edilmiştir. Küme 1'de küresel model %4,29 oranında üstünlük göstermiştir (13,17 mm/yıl'a karşı 13,73 mm/yıl). Elastic Net regresyonu, segmente özgü modelleme yaklaşımıyla birleştirildiğinde en dengeli performansı sergilemiştir. Hız tahmini açısından, tüm veri seti üzerinde Belirlilik Katsayısı (Coefficient of Determination; R²) = 0,9453, RMSE = 3,34 mm/yıl ve Pearson korelasyon katsayısı r = 0,9971 değerleri elde edilmiştir.

In this doctoral thesis, it is aimed to overcome the fundamental methodological limitations in ground deformation monitoring processes based on Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR). Approaches that are widely used in the literature model large geographical areas with homogeneous data sets and single-type algorithms; this leads to the neglect of spatial heterogeneity, the use of parameter sets that are independent of the regional context, and the inadequate representation of different deformation mechanisms. These limitations result in a decrease in prediction accuracy and a weakening of model generalizability. In order to systematically identify the methodological gaps, a bibliometric analysis and a PRISMA-compliant systematic literature review covering the period 1984–2024 were conducted. As a result of the examination, shortcomings in generalizability, problems in the objectivity of segmentation, and deficiencies in explainability were documented; in line with these findings, the conceptual framework of the Adaptive Regional Artificial Intelligence System (ARAIS) was developed. ARAIS provides a four-component conceptual modelling framework: data integration, automatic segmentation, region-based model selection, and explainable reporting. For the operationalization of the framework, a web-based platform called the SARisk Geohazard Segmentation Platform (Segmenting Geohazards; SARisk) was developed. The platform supports spatio-temporal data management, interactive visualization, and modular analysis workflows; through generative artificial intelligence integration, it enables the production of automatic reports and explainable analytical outputs. At the core of the SARisk platform lies the GHOST (Grid-based Hierarchical Overlap Spatio-Temporal) algorithm, which automates the segmentation process through a two-stage K-Shape-based clustering methodology and an adaptive grid system. In the performance tests of the algorithm, comparisons were carried out with K-Shape, Fuzzy C-Means, Mini-Batch K-Means, Catch22, and SAX K-Means methods, and GHOST achieved superiority in all categories in normalized metrics. It showed a 5% relative advantage over the closest competitor in the Silhouette score and a 14% relative advantage in the Davies–Bouldin index, while, in terms of the Calinski–Harabasz index, it attained a value approximately one order of magnitude higher than those of the SAX K-Means and K-Shape algorithms. In the WCCM score, all algorithms showed similar temporal consistency in the range between 91 and 97. The proof-of-concept application was carried out on 140,986 InSAR data points in the Gediz Graben region. With a minimum vertical deformation rate threshold of 15 mm/year, 43,584 points were included in the analysis, and a deformation series consisting of 182 time steps was obtained for each point. The GHOST algorithm formed four deformation clusters containing 5,081, 15,381, 11,131, and 11,991 points, respectively. The cluster-based modelling approach provided improvements compared to global models in three of the four clusters: Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) improvements of 3.77% in Cluster 0 (from 21.65 mm/year to 20.83 mm/year), 13.50% in Cluster 2 (from 13.55 mm/year to 11.72 mm/year), and 5.93% in Cluster 3 (from 11.41 mm/year to 10.73 mm/year) were obtained. In Cluster 1, the global model showed 4.29% superiority (13.17 mm/year versus 13.73 mm/year). Elastic Net regression demonstrated the most balanced performance when combined with the segment-specific modelling approach. In terms of velocity estimation, Coefficient of Determination (R²) = 0.9453, RMSE = 3.34 mm/year, and Pearson correlation coefficient r = 0.9971 were obtained over the entire dataset. When the error distribution was examined, it was determined that 50% of the points had absolute error values lower than 2.18 mm/year, 80% lower than 4.89 mm/year, and 95% lower than 5.38 mm/year. Computation times were reduced by a factor of three to five compared to the global model. Consequently, in this study, the methodological gaps in the literature were systematically mapped, the ARAIS framework was developed, the SARisk platform and the GHOST algorithm were designed, and their applicability was demonstrated on the Gediz Graben. The findings reveal that modelling approaches sensitive to the regional context provide measurable advantages over traditional homogeneous modelling strategies.
