Özet
74 ÖZET Çalışmamızın temel problemi modernizmin farklı kadın hareketleri içerisinde tartışma boyutları ve bu tartışmamalarm hangi ilişkiler çerçevesinde anlaşılması gerektiği ve“kadın sorunu”denilen olguyu, modernizm ve modernleşme tartışmaları çerçevesinde, dönemin siyasal-toplumsal ortamı ile ilişkilendirilebilmektedir. Sorunu açıklayabilmek için belgesel gözlem tekniği kullanılmış ve literatür taraması yoluna gidilmiştir. Bu bağlamda ilk olarak konunun temel tanım ve kavramları açıklanmıştır. Modernleşme, modernite, Batılılaşma, geleneksel islam, radikal siyasal İslam, örtülü müslüman kadın, Kemalist- feminist kadın, laiklik gibi terimler, çalışmanın anahtar kavramlarını oluşturmaktadır. Bu kavramların kadın sorunu ile ilişkisi kurularak, araştırmanın varsayımları bu çerçevede oluşturulmuştur. Modernleşme Türkiye açısından siyasal ve toplumsal ortamı belirleyen, temel bir toplumsal süreç olarak ele alınmış ve bu bağlamda kadın sorununa yönelik tartışmalar da bu sürecin sonucu olarak değerlendirilmiştir. Genel anlamda bakılacak olursa, 1980 sonrasında dünyada meydana gelen siyasi ve toplumsal değişimler, Türkiye'nin iç dinamikleri üzerinde etkide bulunmuş ve kadın sorununa yönelik tartışmaları biçimleyen temel parametreleri oluşturmuştur.75 Modernleşme sürecinde üç farklı isimle ortaya çıkan kadın hareketleri bu sürecin sonunda biçimlenen özelliklere sahiptir. Makro boyuttaki tartışmalar kadın sorununa yönelik tartışmaların eksenlerini oluşturmaktadır. Feminist kadın hareketi, Batı kaynaklı feminist kuramların ve 1980 sonrası ortaya çıkan sivil toplumcu söylemin izlerini taşırken, Kemalist-feminist hareket, modern/laik ulus-devlet perspektifinden, feminist kadın hareketine ve örtülü müslüman kadın hareketine belli bir mesafede durmaktadır. Feminist hareket Cumhuriyetin nimetlerinin değerini bilmemekle suçlanırken, örtülü müslüman kadın hareketi ise“çağdışı”damgası yemektedir. Modernizm karşısında“sorgulayan konumda”bulunan örtülü müslüman kadın hareketi ise, hem feminizmin hem de Kemalist-modernist toplum projesinin kadın ve İslama yönelik ön kabullerini sorgulayan ve bunlara karşı alternatif İslami bir toplum projesi getirme çabası içine girmiştir. Ancak bu çaba da kendi içinde çelişkili tutumlar içermektedir.

76 SUMMARY The main problem of our study is the argument dimensions of modernism in different women movements and with which relations these arguments should be understood and to relate the concept of“women rights problem”around modernism and modernizing arguments with the political- social situation of the time. In order to explain the problem, documentary observation technique is used, and the data is collected through survey literature. For this aim, firstly the definition and the concept of the matter is explained. Modernization, modernite, Westernization, traditional Islam, radical political Islam, head scarved muslim women, Kemalist, feminist women, securalism, and terms like these form the key concepts of this study. By relating these concepts with the women rights problem, the assumptions of the study has been formed. Modernization has been considered as a basic social duration that determines the political and the social atmoshphere for Turkey, and related to this, discussion about the women rights problem have been evaluated as the result of this process. If one takes the concept into consideration in general, the political and the social changes in the world after 1980, formed the basic parameters77 that the discussions about the women rights problem which affected Turkey's inner dynamics. In modernization duration appearing in three different names, the women rights organizations have the properties which was shaped after this process. The discussions in the macro dimension forms the direction of the discussions about the women rights problem. Although the feminist women organization has the effects of west origin feminist theory and the civilian society which formed after 1980, the Kemalist-feminist organisation stays aside from the secular nation-country perspective, feminist women organization is accused for“Not being oware of the benefits of the Republication”and the head scarved muslim women are named as“outworn”. In the position as“interrogater”the head scarved muslim women organization is in the effort of interrogating either the feminism or the Kemalist-modernist nation projects' are acceptance of women and Islam. Also, they are trying to bring an alternative Islamic nation project against these. But, this effort has also contradictory attitudes in itself.
